Privacy Policy — Android Interview QA

Android Interview QA ("the app") is developed by Ahmed Essam ("we"). This policy explains how the app handles your information. In short: the app works fully offline and does not collect, transmit, or share any personal data.

Information we collect

We do NOT collect, transmit, or sell any personal information. The app has no account system, no backend server, and no analytics or advertising SDKs. All data you create stays on your device only:

- Your progress (completed topics, favorites, flags, quiz results, streaks, XP)

- Personal notes you write on topics

- Voice recordings you make in "Voice Practice"

- App settings (theme, font, reminders)

This data is stored in the app's private storage on your device and is never uploaded.

Permissions

- Microphone (RECORD_AUDIO) — used only when you tap record in Voice Practice. Recordings are saved locally and never sent anywhere. Optional.

- Notifications (POST_NOTIFICATIONS) — used only to show the optional daily study reminder you enable. Optional.

Data sharing

We do not share, sell, or disclose your data to anyone. No third parties receive your data, because none is collected.

External links

The app includes a "Buy me a coffee" link that opens our Patreon page (patreon.com/mobidobidoo) in your browser. Patreon is a separate service governed by its own privacy policy.

Data retention and deletion

Because all data is stored locally, you control it entirely:

- Delete individual voice recordings, or clear notes, within the app.

- Uninstalling the app permanently removes all of its data from your device.

Children's privacy

The app is intended for a general audience (developers preparing for interviews) and does not knowingly collect data from anyone, including children.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy; the "Last updated" date above will change accordingly.
