This Privacy Policy explains what information the 2048X app ("the App") collects, how it is used and shared, and the choices you have. By using the App you agree to the practices described here.

1. Summary

• The App does not require you to create an account and does not ask for your name, e‑mail address, phone number, contacts, photos, files, or precise location.

• Your game progress, scores and settings are stored only on your device.

• The App shows ads through Google AdMob and offers achievements and leaderboards through Google Play Games Services. These Google services collect some data automatically, as described below.

• All data is transmitted over encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS).

2. Data stored on your device only

Game state (current board, scores, best score, undo charges, selected theme and other settings) is saved locally on your device. It is not sent to us or to any third party. Uninstalling the App deletes this data.

3. Data collected by Google AdMob (advertising)

The App uses the Google Mobile Ads SDK (AdMob) to display advertisements, including rewarded video ads. When ads are requested or shown, the SDK may collect and share with Google and its advertising partners:

• Device or other identifiers — the Android advertising ID and similar app/device identifiers.

• Approximate location — derived from your IP address (not GPS; the App does not request location permissions).

• App activity — interactions with ads and the App (for example, that an ad was shown, clicked or a reward was earned).

• App info and performance — diagnostics such as crash and performance information related to ad delivery.

Purposes: advertising and marketing (serving and measuring ads), analytics, and fraud prevention, security and compliance.

This data is collected and shared by Google under its own policies. See:

• Google Privacy Policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy

• How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services: https://policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites

• AdMob data disclosure: https://developers.google.com/admob/android/privacy/play-data-disclosure

Your choices: you can reset or delete your advertising ID and opt out of ads personalization in your device settings (Settings → Google → Ads, or Settings → Privacy → Ads). In the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland the App shows a consent form (Google User Messaging Platform) before serving personalized ads; you can change your choice at any time from the App's menu where available, or by reinstalling the App.

4. Data collected by Google Play Games Services

If Play Games Services sign‑in succeeds on your device, the App uses your Google Play Games profile to unlock achievements and submit scores to leaderboards. In that case Google collects:

• Personal info — your Play Games display name (gamertag) and avatar, and a user ID (Play Games player ID) that identifies your profile.

• Game activity — achievements unlocked and scores submitted by the App.

Purposes: app functionality (achievements and leaderboards) and account management (linking your Play Games profile to the App). This data is stored by Google under its policies (https://policies.google.com/privacy). You can manage your Play Games profile visibility and delete your Play Games data from the Google Play Games app or your Google Account (https://myaccount.google.com).

Sign‑in with Play Games is optional at the platform level: if you are not signed in to Play Games on your device, the App works without it.

5. Data sharing

We do not sell your data. We do not share data with anyone except as described above: Google (AdMob, Play Games Services) and Google's advertising partners receive data directly from the Google SDKs embedded in the App. We, the developer, do not operate our own servers and do not receive personal data from the App.

6. Data retention and deletion

Data stored locally is deleted when you uninstall the App. Data collected by Google is retained according to Google's retention policies. Because the App has no accounts and no developer‑operated servers, there is no developer‑side data to request deletion of; use the Google controls described in sections 3 and 4 to manage or delete data held by Google.

7. Children

The App is not directed to children under 13 (or the applicable age of digital consent in your country), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

8. Security

Data exchanged between the App and Google services is encrypted in transit. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but the App collects only the minimal data needed for ads and Play Games features.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The current version is always available at the link published on the App's Google Play listing, with the "Last updated" date above.
