5x5 ("the app") is built to respect your privacy. This policy explains what the app does and does not do with your information.
DATA WE COLLECT
None. 5x5 does not collect, transmit, or share any personal data. The app has no user accounts, no analytics, no advertising, and makes no network requests to our servers — we don't operate any.
DATA STORED ON YOUR DEVICE
Your workout data — plans, logged sets, weights, history, and settings — is stored locally on your device only. It never leaves your device except where you explicitly enable Apple Health sync. Deleting the app removes this data.
APPLE HEALTH
If you grant permission, 5x5 writes your completed workouts to Apple Health and may read related data you authorize. This information is managed entirely by Apple Health under Apple's privacy controls. 5x5 does not transmit Health data anywhere, never uses it for advertising, and never shares it with third parties. You can revoke access at any time in iOS Settings → Health.
NOTIFICATIONS
If you enable workout reminders, the app schedules local notifications on your device. No notification data is sent off-device.
CHILDREN
The app is rated 4+ and does not collect data from anyone, including children.
CHANGES
We may update this policy; the "Last updated" date will reflect any changes.
