Privacy Policy - TaskRoket Widget Silencer

TaskRoket: Widget Silencer does not collect, store, or transmit personal data.

The extension runs locally in the browser. It detects floating chat widgets on the pages you visit and hides, mutes, or collapses them according to your settings.

Settings, the list of exceptions, and local counters are stored only in chrome.storage.local on your device. They are never sent to a server and are removed when you uninstall the extension.

The extension makes no network requests and contains no analytics, tracking, advertising, or remote code.

Host access to all sites is required because chat widgets can appear on any page. The content script only inspects page structure to find fixed-position chat launchers and applies CSS to the widget itself; it does not read, collect, or transmit page content.

The storage permission is used only to keep your preferences and local statistics.
