SpendWise is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how our mobile application handles user information.

1. Data Collection and Storage

SpendWise is an offline-first personal budget, expense tracker, and loan calculator application. All financial transaction data, expense entries, budgets, and notes created by the user are stored locally on your device using an internal SQLite database. We do not operate external servers to store, collect, or transmit your personal financial records. Your data remains entirely under your personal control.

2. Third-Party Services & Advertising

The application uses Google AdMob (provided by Google LLC) to serve advertisements. AdMob may automatically collect and process certain non-personally identifiable technical information in accordance with Google's Privacy Policy, including advertising identifiers, device information, and ad interaction statistics.

3. Permissions

• INTERNET & ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE: Required by Google AdMob to load advertisements.

• POST_NOTIFICATIONS: Optional permission used solely for local daily expense reminder notifications scheduled by the user.

• RECEIVE_BOOT_COMPLETED: Used solely to re-register local daily reminders after a device restart.

4. Children's Privacy

SpendWise does not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under the age of 13.
