SpecExtract is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how our Chrome Extension handles information when you use our

services.

1. Information Collection and Storage

• No Personal Identification Collection: We do not collect, store, transmit, or track your personal identity, name, email address, IP address, or

browsing history.

• Local Storage Only: Extension preferences and user-provided API keys are saved exclusively on your local device using chrome.storage.local. This data

never leaves your browser.

• Document Data Processing: Document text is extracted only when you explicitly click "Extract Page Requirements". Text snippets are transmitted

directly and securely via encrypted HTTPS to AI provider endpoints (OpenAI / Anthropic) solely for the purpose of generating structured JSON output.

2. Use of Data

Any text submitted for analysis is used strictly to fulfill the core functionality of extracting deadlines, technical requirements, legal clauses, and

contact details. We do not sell, rent, monetize, or harvest user data or document text.

3. Third-Party Services

• OpenAI / Anthropic: Processes text requests under secure SSL encryption for real-time analysis.

• ExtensionPay / Stripe: Handles payment licensing securely if you subscribe to a Pro plan. Credit card details are processed directly by Stripe and

are never stored by SpecExtract.

4. Data Retention

SpecExtract does not retain or store any processed document text on remote servers. All analysis results are rendered in your browser and discarded

when closed.
