SheetScrape is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains our practices regarding data collection, usage, and protection when you use our Google Chrome extension.

1. Zero Data Collection (No Tracking)

SheetScrape operates 100% client-side inside your Google Chrome browser.

• No Personal Data Collected: We do not collect, store, transmit, or sell your name, email, IP address, browsing history, or any personally identifiable information (PII).

• No Server Storage: We do not run external tracking servers or analytical databases. All table parsing and conversions happen directly in your browser local memory.

• No Table Data Stored: Any data, tables, or lists you extract from web pages remain strictly on your local machine. We cannot see, access, or log your scraped data.

2. Permissions Used and Why

SheetScrape only requests the minimum permissions required to function:

1. activeTab: Used solely to access the currently active web page when you explicitly click the extension icon or use the Select on Page button to highlight and extract tables.

2. scripting: Used to run our parsing script on the active page to detect table elements and convert them to formatted Excel or CSV.

3. storage: Used exclusively on your local device to keep track of your daily free exports counter (5 tables / day) and save your Pro License key locally.

3. Third-Party Services

If you purchase a Pro license, payment transactions are processed securely through certified Merchant of Record platforms (Lemon Squeezy). We do not receive, store, or process your credit card numbers or payment details.
