Privacy Policy - Money Manager
This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your choices. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
1) Summary
- We collect only what we need to operate, secure, and improve the App and to process your in-app purchases.
- No bank logins: We do not collect your online banking credentials.
- Subscriptions via Apple: Purchases are processed by Apple; we do not receive your full payment card details.
- Your entries are yours: Financial entries (e.g., transactions, budgets) are your content (see §7).
- We don’t sell your personal information or use third-party ad networks.
2) Information we collect
a) You provide
- Account/profile data (if accounts exist): name, email, avatar.
- Financial entries you input (transactions, budgets, categories, notes, attachments).
- Support communications you send us.
b) Collected automatically
- Device & usage data: device model, OS/App version, language, time zone, settings, in-App actions, diagnostic events.
- Crash/Performance data to fix bugs and improve stability.
- Analytics (aggregated statistics about feature usage and retention).
c) Purchases (via Apple)
- In-App Purchases/Subscriptions: product identifier, transaction identifier, subscription status (active/expired), country/region, and other metadata needed to validate entitlements.
- No card numbers: Apple processes payments; we do not receive your card details.
d) Optional (only if you opt in)
- Cloud sync/backup: If enabled, your data is stored on our or our providers’ servers to sync across devices.
- Permissions (e.g., Photos/Camera/Contacts): used only for the feature you choose (e.g., attaching receipt photos).
- App Tracking Transparency: We do not track you across other companies’ apps or websites. If this changes, we will ask permission first.
Sensitive info: The App may process the financial information you choose to enter. Only add information you are comfortable storing.
3) Why we use your information (legal bases)
- Provide the App & features (contract) — including purchase validation and access control.
- Troubleshoot, secure & improve (legitimate interests) — diagnostics, analytics, preventing abuse.
- Communicate with you (contract/consent/legitimate interests) — service messages, support.
- Comply with law (legal obligation) — e.g., tax/audit records.
4) Sharing
We share information only with:
- Service providers (analytics, crash reporting, cloud hosting, email) under confidentiality and processing agreements.
- Apple to fulfill and validate in-app purchases and subscriptions.
- Authorities when required by law or to protect rights/safety.
- Business transfers (merger, acquisition, asset sale) with notice where required.
We do not sell your personal data and do not use third-party ad networks.
5) International transfers
Where data is transferred internationally, we use appropriate safeguards (e.g., EU Standard Contractual Clauses) as required. Details available on request.
6) Retention
- Financial entries: kept until you delete them, delete your account (if applicable), or request deletion.
- Purchase records: kept as required by tax/accounting laws.
- Diagnostics/analytics: kept for limited periods necessary for troubleshooting and metrics.
- We also retain information as needed to resolve disputes and enforce agreements.
Refund-Related Data Sharing
We may share limited anonymized information with Apple when a user requests a refund for an in-app purchase. This includes (but is not limited to) time since installation, usage duration, an anonymous account identifier, purchase consumption details, and transaction amounts, solely for the purpose of processing and verifying refund requests. No personally identifiable information is shared.
7) Storage, security & sync
- On-device by default. Use your device’s passcode/biometrics for protection.
- Cloud sync (optional). Data is encrypted in transit and at rest with commercially reasonable measures.
- No absolute security. No method is 100% secure, but we work to protect your data.
8) Your rights and choices
Depending on your location (e.g., EEA/UK under GDPR; California under CPRA; Colorado under CPA), you may have rights to:
- Access, correct, delete, or port your data.
- Object to or restrict certain processing.
- Opt out of “sale/sharing” (we don’t sell) and targeted advertising (not used).
- Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.

Appeals (where applicable): If we deny a request, reply to our decision to appeal. You may also contact your state regulator.
Global Privacy Control/Do Not Track: Honored where required by law.
9) Children
The App is not directed to children under 16 (or higher minimum as required). If you believe a child provided data, contact us to delete it.
10) Third-party links & SDKs
Links or SDKs from third parties are governed by their policies. We list required SDK disclosures in-App or on our site where required.
11) Changes
We may update this Policy and will post the new version with the “Last updated” date. Material changes may be notified in-App or by email where required.
