Privacy Policy

Easy Fasting ("the app") is an intermittent-fasting timer published by Alexandr Lebedev. This policy explains what data the app processes, where it is stored and what your choices are. The short version: your health data never leaves your device unless you back it up with your own Google account.

1. Data you enter

To personalise fasting programs, calorie and body-composition estimates the app asks for your name, sex, date of birth, height, weight and goal weight. You can also log weigh-ins, water intake and completed fasts. All of this isstored only on your device, in the app's private database. It is not transmitted to us or to any third party.

2. Backup

If Android Backup is enabled on your device, the database and settings are included in your personal Google account backup so they can be restored on a new phone. The backup is encrypted by Android and is not accessible to us. Purchase state is excluded from backups and restored through Google Play instead.

3. Purchases

Premium features are sold as subscriptions and a one-time purchase through Google Play Billing. Payment details are handled entirely by Google; the app only receives a purchase token that proves your entitlement. See theGoogle Privacy Policy.

4. Analytics and crash reports

The app uses Firebase Analytics and Firebase Crashlytics (Google LLC) to understand which features are used and to fix crashes. These services collect a pseudonymous app-instance identifier, device model, OS version, country derived from IP address, and event names such as "fast_started" together with the program id and duration.No name, weight, height, date of birth or other health values are ever sent.Crash reports contain stack traces and device state at the time of the crash.

5. Notifications

Reminders about your fasting window and water intake are scheduled locally on the device. They require the notification permission, which you can revoke at any time in Android settings.

6. Permissions

• INTERNET– Google Play Billing, analytics and crash reports.
• POST_NOTIFICATIONS– fasting and hydration reminders.
• RECEIVE_BOOT_COMPLETED– restore reminders after the phone restarts.
• com.android.vending.BILLING– in-app purchases.

7. Your choices

• Delete your data: Profile → Reset all data removes your profile, history and settings from the device. Uninstalling the app has the same effect.
• Analytics: you can reset the advertising / app-instance identifier or opt out of usage and diagnostics in Android settings.
• Subscriptions: manage or cancel in Google Play → Payments & subscriptions.

8. Children

The app is intended for adults. Body-composition estimates are not medical advice. If you are under 18, pregnant, or have a medical condition, consult a doctor before fasting.

9. Changes

We will post any changes to this policy on this page and update the effective date above.
