Contacts Translator helps users preview, edit, transliterate, and update contact names directly on their device, with local backup before saving changes.

Information We Collect

Contacts Translator does not require account creation and does not collect personal information for tracking, advertising, or analytics.

Contacts Access

If you allow contacts access, the app reads contact information needed to preview name changes, apply approved updates, and restore original names from backup. Contact processing is designed to happen on your device.

Backups and Restore

Before saving approved contact changes, the app creates a local backup on your device so original names can be restored later. Backup data is stored locally for restore purposes.

Manual Edits

The app allows users to manually edit translated contact names before saving. Any manual edits are made at the user’s discretion and saved only after explicit confirmation.

Purchases

Some features may require a subscription or one-time purchase. Payments are processed by Apple through the App Store. The app may store local purchase status to unlock premium features.

Data Sharing

The app does not sell or share your personal data with third parties. Contact data is not uploaded to remote servers for the app’s core functionality.

Data Retention and Deletion

You control the data stored by the app. You can remove backups, revoke Contacts permission in iOS Settings, or delete the app and its local data at any time.
