1. Overview & Single Purpose

AI Chat to Markdown & Notion Exporter enables users to export conversations from ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Grok, and DeepSeek into clean Markdown format or sync them to Notion.

2. 100% Client-Side Processing

All conversation parsing and formatting occur strictly locally within your browser. We operate zero intermediary analytics or telemetry tracking servers. Your conversation contents are never stored, transmitted, or monitored by us.

3. Third-Party Integrations

- Notion API (api.notion.com): Data is transmitted directly from the client to Notion only when you click Sync to Notion.
- Gumroad API (api.gumroad.com): License keys are checked directly with Gumroad to verify Pro status.

4. Permissions Usage

- activeTab / scripting: Detects chat DOM structure and injects the floating export action bar.
- storage: Stores local preferences and export history in the user browser.
- clipboardWrite: Copies Markdown formatted text to clipboard.
