A FURIOUS woman from India wants Prince Harry ARRESTED - after a conman pretending to be the royal proposed to her.
The woman, identified as Palwinder Kaur, claimed a relationship blossomed online with a man claiming to be the Duke who then asked to wed her.
Ms Kaur, who appears to have been catfished into believing she was really talking to Prince Harry, has a filed a lawsuit calling for the real Prince Harry to carry out his promise of marriage "without further delay".
She also requested that Indian authorities issue an international arrest warrant so that the UK police could apprehend the Duke of Sussex for reneging on his "promise" to marry her.
Fortunately for the sixth-in-line to the throne, the Punjab and Haryana high court has dismissed the filings - branding them a "daydreamer’s fantasy" - meaning he can remain happily married to Meghan Markle.
The petition filed by the woman from Chandigarh is against "Prince Harry Middleton" and others.
It states: "Prayer in this petition filed by the petitioner, who is an advocate is appearing in person, is to take legal action against Prince Harry Middleton son of Prince Charles Middleton resident of the United Kingdom.
“And to direct the United Kingdom Police Cell to take action against him, as, despite a promise to marry the petitioner, the said promise has not been fulfilled."
Love is blind and in this case, it went a step further
According to reports, when questioned by the judge Mr Justice Arvind Singh Sangwan, she admitted that she had never been to the UK or met the Duke of Sussex in person.
All of their supposed contact was reportedly over email and social media.
She added that she had taken the reluctant step of demanding court action after also writing to Harry’s father, Prince Charles.
She said she had informed him that Harry was engaged to her and was not honouring his promise to marry her, it’s reported.
The court rejected the application saying it was not proven that she had been speaking to Prince Harry.
But they were also reported to have tried to be sympathetic to the woman, pointing out that many fake profiles exist on social media which cannot be relied on as proof that conversations with real people had taken place.
Amangurbir Singh Dhillon, an advocate of the Punjab and Haryana High Court in Chandigarh, told The Independent : "Love is blind and in this case, it went a step further.
"The woman was so blind in love that the high court had to put some light into it and give her some clarity,”
"Hon’ble Justice Sangwan showed sympathy towards a young naive lover, which in my opinion is an excellent example of judgeship."

Prince Harry's motive for marrying Meghan Markle quickly was to ensure she would get police protection, according to Tina Brown's new book, "The Palace Papers."
In the book , released on Tuesday, Brown writes that Prince William had concerns over how fast the Duke and Duchess of Sussex's relationship was moving when they were first dating.
Brown said that she spoke to more than 120 people for the book, many of whom were close to senior royals. One anonymous source close to William told Brown that the prince thought Markle should have had more time to build a life in the UK and make friends before getting married to his brother. But Harry responded by saying that he wanted Markle to have police protection that she would be entitled to when they married, according to the source.
"To his brother's concerns, Harry's riposte can be summarized as, I am told, 'Well, actually the best way I can protect her is to marry her as quickly as possible, because as soon as I marry her she will then get police protection,'" Brown wrote.
"Plus, she was a month shy of thirty-five. Her biological clock was ticking," Brown added.
Harry and Markle met through a mutual friend in London in July 2016, and in November 2017 they announced their engagement. They tied the knot at Windsor Castle on May 19, 2018.
Markle became a senior working member of the royal family upon the marriage, meaning she was entitled to publicly-funded police protection . When the couple resigned from royal duties in April 2020, they became financially independent and were therefore no longer entitled to publicly-funded protection .
The couple are thought to be using privately-funded security at their home in Santa Barbara, California.
Speaking on the "Today" show earlier in April, Harry said security issues could prevent him from attending the Queen's Platinum Jubilee service in June.
In September, Harry appealed for a judicial review of a government decision that barred him from personally paying for police protection while in the UK, Insider reported in January.
"The Duke and Duchess of Sussex personally fund a private security team for their family, yet that security cannot replicate the necessary police protection needed while in the UK. In the absence of such protection, Prince Harry and his family are unable to return to his home," read a statement issued by the prince's spokesperson at the time.
Representatives for the Duke and Duchess of Sussex did not immediately respond to Insider's request for comment. Kensington Palace declined to comment.

Why Did Prince Harry Really Marry Meghan Markle? Shocking Theory Explained

Those who were critics of her becoming a part of the Royal Family have been hopeful that they could find an ulterior motive behind Prince Harry’s decision to marry Meghan Markle. As it turns out, one theory has been speculated that would explain the couple’s pairing to those who are critical of it.
A popular theory had circulated and gained traction not long after Prince Harry and Meghan Markle became engaged in November 2017 which indicated that Prince Harry did have a reason for marrying the American actress. A tweet by writer Greg Pollowitz hinted that there was a chance the marriage was a ploy to allow Great Britain to colonize the United States again in the future.
“Prince Harry’s kids will be Americans,” Pollowitz wrote. “What if one grows up to be president and is in line for the throne at the same time? Brits are playing long-ball here, but it’s a smart move. They want America back and this is how they’ll do it.”
Of course, while Pollowitz’s theory would satisfy those who weren’t fond of Markle becoming the eventual Duchess of Sussex, there was a flaw in his logic. While Markle is still a U.S. citizen , and could still retain that if she wishes once she becomes an official British citizen, where she is from does not apply to her children. Should she and Prince Harry have kids, and they are born in Great Britain, they will be British citizens—not American. Because they won’t be American citizens, they wouldn’t be eligible to eventually run for President of the United States, as the requirements for that office include being a “natural born citizen” of the country.
Of course, that isn’t the only crazy theory that has floated over the years in regards to the royal family. According to Marie Claire , several others have been suggested that question Harry’s own paternity, Princess Diana’s death, and even if members of the royal family are supernatural.
Among those theories? That Markle is actually a robot, Prince Charles is a vampire, and Queen Elizabeth II is an extraterrestrial reptile. While they’ve never been outwardly refuted, like many stories which circulate about the royals , they are very unlikely to be true.
