Fall in love with this classic story all over again; after wowing Broadway audiences through 2019 in a record-breaking and award-winning run, Pretty Woman: The Musical is now playing at the Savoy Theatre, London. Based on the 1990 film starring Julia Roberts and Richard Gere, which follows a sex-worker and a slick corporate raider in the Hollywood Hills who begin a relationship that starts as a business transaction, but develops into a romance that will change both of their lives forever. This theatrical adaptation of the well-loved romantic comedy features music by Bryan Adams and Jim Vallance and a book by the original film's creators Gary Marshall and J. F. Lawton. Aimie Atkinson, fresh from her run as Howard in the West End hit Six, will star as Vivian, with Danny Mac, recently seen in White Christmas and Amรฉlie, as Edward.

I had just been to see Six the musical (which was excellent. LOVED IT!) And I was thinking what would I do for the rest of the evening. Then I saw people queuing for something and decided to see what was happening. They were queuing for Pretty Woman the musical. I didn't have a ticket but decided to check if if I could get a last minute one. I cannot praise the staff at the Savoy Theatre highly enough. They were all so lovely and helpful. The show was very good and very funny. To be honest I didn't really care for the songs and I did notice that the song It must have been love was not in the show. But I did enjoy it.

Fantastic, I highly recommend it. Itโ€™s true to the film, funny yet touching. Everyone was standing at the end.

This was a Xmas gift from my daughter, which included an overnight stay at The strand hotel, afternoon tea at The Savoy & Pretty Women Musical. What a wonderful gift and The musical was amazing! Congratulations to all the cast. However, it was totally overshadowed by a party of women who were quite obviously drunk. They also blatantly took in whole bottles of wine & glasses. They didnโ€™t try to hide them. We are wondering why this was alllowed? They were loud throughout the show laughing, talking and shouting out at inappropriate times. Continually getting out of their seats from the middle of the row. Security Staff did their best to monitor & address but no-one was removed, we wonder why? We obviously were not the only ones to be affected by this as other people were making that clear to us. This has never happen before at the many musicals we have seen and We would not have expected this at any theatre let alone The Savoy. We are very disappointed.

Fantastic polished performance. Special thanks however must go to one of the front of house staff, Alice. During the interval,Wanted to purchase a tee shirt but the correct size was not on the merchandise stand. Alice asked if we were having a good time. Mentioned the problem re lack of sizes. No problem said she, off she went to the stockroom and got the required size. In my opinion, that was excellent customer service
