And there she is: Taylor Momsen left little to the imagination with this naked photo from her Going To Hell album with band The Pretty Reckless
She has established herself as a provocative hard rocker.
So when the latest album for her band The Pretty Reckless was released last week - Going To Hell - it was hardly surprising to see Taylor Momsen full-frontal nude with terrifying blacked out eyes.
In the jaw-dropping image, a censored version of which is seen right, the 20-year-old is nude with black body paint covering her chest, shaped into an arrow which points down at her crotch.
Her blonde locks are sprawled out around her head, which becomes frightening with the horror movie-esque eye make-up.
The signature arrow and cross combination that has been used to promote the album is painted in thick black lines across the star's entirely naked body.
It is an interesting turn for the performer who starred in teen series for the CW, Gossip Girl, around the same time she hit the stage to front the heavy rock band alongside Ben Phillips, Mark Damon and Jamie Perkins.
The music video for the album's debut track Heaven Knows was released last month, which was essentially an intensified and moving version of the graphic album art.
'#HeavenKnowsVideo NOW on @vevo check it out...time to tour the world,' Taylor tweeted last month following the music video's release.
The video stays true to the band's heavy metal-hard rock persona.
It open opens with students looking bored in a classroom as a teacher points at a blackboard.
Taylor is seen sitting at the back of the room, her boot-clad feet defiantly on the desk.

The camera then cuts to her walking down a corridor wearing black leather boots and a loose top with a silver cross on the front.
Her blonde hair hangs in waves over her shoulders and her eyes are lined in black.
'Oh Lord, Heaven knows, we belong... down below,' she croons. 'Sing it!'
Young children are then heard in the chorus as they sit in a smoke-filled room while watching eerie scenes on multiple TV screens.

Taylor stands in a black cloak in front of the children as she sings.
'1, 2, 3, 4, the devil's knocking at your door,' she says.
As the song reaches a climax, Taylor triumphantly pulls open her coat to reveal her naked body with black tape in the shape of a cross on her front.
She ends the video with her arms in the air, surrounded by the young children doing the same.

The singer began her career at age five with a rendition of Christmas, Why Can't I Find You? for the soundtrack to How the Grinch Stole Christmas.
At eight, she wrote a song called Blackout, which The Hills star Heidi Montag recorded for her debut album, Superficial.
While she first rocketed to fame as teenage socialite Jenny Humphrey in the CW show, Gossip Girl, Taylor says her heart is in music.

'Acting is easy. I've been doing it for so long and I totally love it. But you're playing a character instead of yourself. Music is more personal because you're writing it and you're involved in every step of it,' she has told Parade magazine.
The cover isn't the first time the former child star from St Louis, Missouri, has caused a controversy.
In the video for her track, Going To Hell, she was portrayed as Eve in the Garden of Eden holding an apple aloft while a huge python seethed from its place around her neck.
But Taylor has said in the past that doesn't view herself as 'controversial.'
'I don't see myself as controversial,' she told The Huffington Post. 'If other people see me like that I'd probably say they're a bit stiff. I don't write about myself. I write songs.'

The Pretty Reckless are a band that loves to play live, so it’s been hard for them to stay off the road. Now, Taylor Momsen and company have announced their first run of tour dates since 2017, a spring US outing supporting Shinedown .
Prior to linking up with Shinedown, The Pretty Reckless will perform two sold-out headlining gigs at the new venue Brooklyn Made on March 22nd and 23rd. From there, TPR and Shinedown will kick off a 24-date tour on April 1st in Spokane, Washington, with Diamante serving as opening act.
Tickets are available starting December 17th via Ticketmaster , with a pre-sale kicking off on Tuesday, December 14th (pre-sale code: BELLS).
Shinedown, meanwhile, will precede the spring trek with a previously announced month-long winter North American run featuring support from Pop Evil and Ayron Jones. That leg kicks off January 26th in San Francisco, with tickets available here .
Following the stateside outing, The Pretty Reckless will head overseas for gigs throughout the summer, including festival appearances at Britain’s Download Festival, Germany’s Rock Im Park and Rock Am Ring and the Netherlands’ Pinkpop. They’ll also serve as direct support for Foo Fighters in Berlin.
The Pretty Reckless are touring in support of their 2021 album, Death by Rock and Roll , while Shinedown’s latest full-length effort is 2018’s Attention Attention .
Regarding the title track off Death by Rock and Roll, which is a tribute to the band’s late producer, Kato Khandwala, Momsen told Heavy Consequence ‘s Beyond the Boys’ Club column, “The beginning of the song starts with his footsteps walking down the hallway of the studio, so it’s very much a tribute to him from front to back.”
She continued, “We wanted to make an anthem for rock ‘n’ roll, and even though it’s called ‘Death by Rock and Roll,’ it’s saying the opposite. It’s saying to live life your own way, go out your own way and don’t let anyone tell you different. That’s how he lived his life, and it’s how we we live our lives. Rock ‘n’ roll is more than music to us. It’s a lifestyle, and you live and breathe it. So, what better way to remember him and keep his memory alive than with music?”
In other Pretty Reckless news, the band’s 2014 album, Going to Hell , will be reissued on vinyl on February 11th. The set features the hit singles “Heaven Knows,” “Follow Me Down,” and “Messed Up World.” Pre-orders are available here .
