2008年3月，两名Candy Doll偶像于秋叶原登场，并Cosplay成《美少女战士》的角色。随即引来途人驻足观赏 [1] [3] 。

2008年6月至9月，GP博物馆（ GPミュージアム）推出了Candy Doll偶像的综合DVD《爱丽丝欧洲的美少女们》，全系列共有三枚DVD [4] [5] [6] 。

2014年10月6日，一名自称拥有三个孩子的母亲为了准备跟孩子庆祝万圣节，而在亚马逊上搜索“candy”一词，结果返回了Candy Doll的写真集和写真视频。她为此感到震惊，指责这是恋童者的“燃料”，并向亚马逊投诉 [7] [8] 。亚马逊其后把产品下架 [7] 。英知法律事务所的律师森亮二和虎之门法律事务所的律师上沼紫野皆表示，根据日本法律，很难去判断这些物品是否属于儿童色情 [9] 。
