Presidential Debate

Today at lunch time, the students of SSC were gathered at the line up area to witness the highly anticipated and exciting presidential debate between our two candidates Edlawit Sebsibe and Wengel Tamene, with Afomia as our host. The air was buzzing, and students quickly filled the seats excited to hear our candidate's visions.

The sits were packed as Wengel and Edlawit spoke with passion and purpose. They told us about their goals on improving student life, promoting a better learning environment and strengthening clubs and activities. They took question from the audience both from the telegram bot and the live audience.

Though there was a minor setback when the power went out, the candidates quickly recovered from that and used their own voice, showing showing that whatever came in the future they would make sure our voices are heard.

This debate isn't about who spoke better or who used bigger words, in the end it was about sharing the candidates ideas and giving the students a clearer image of their plans for the coming year.

Now that the debate has ended, the choice is in your hands.
