President Erdogan commented on the US and Israeli strikes on Iran

President Erdogan commented on the US and Israeli strikes on Iran. According to him, the attacks began against the background of "Netanyahu's provocations" and cause "deep sadness and concern."
Erdogan said that in recent weeks, Turkey has been making efforts to resolve differences through diplomatic means. He said that he had held telephone talks with both Donald Trump and Iranian President Masoud Peseshkian. However, according to him, due to the crisis of trust between the parties and Israel's actions, "the desired result could not be achieved."
The Turkish president called the morning strikes on Iran a violation of the country's sovereignty and stressed that they were directed against "the peace and tranquility of the friendly and fraternal Iranian people." At the same time, Ankara considers Iran's missile and drone strikes against the Persian Gulf countries unacceptable.
