As Telegram has recently reached 700 Million users, they have launched a Premium subscription.The subscription that lets you support Telegram's development and gives you access to exclusive additional features.
Telegram says "this will allow us to offer all the resource-heavy features users have asked for over the years, while preserving free access to the most powerful messenger on the planet."
All existing features remain free to use! Free users can download large attachments sent by premium users, react existing premium reactions and view premium stickers.
The contributions of premium subscribers will help improve and expand the app for decades to come, while Telegram will remain free, independent and uphold its users-first values, redefining how a tech company should operate.

Is it worth your money?
Overall, most of the features are extra and do not massively affect the user if they do not have them.
However, if you say use Telegram for work or for your buisness, you may find some features useful. For example, you can upload bigger files to share with your colleagues, send longer messages to them, and make your work even more productive with Voice-to-Text Conversion, or manage your work better with Advanced Chat Management.
For the average user, the most 'helpful' feature would generally be Doubled Limits. Advertisements are very sparse and do not heavily affect the user experience at this point. Many features like Advanced Chat Management or faster download speeds are not really needed for the average user.
Verdict:
Personally, I would recommend purchasing Premium if you use Telegram extensively, or use Telegram as your main communications for work. If you really love Telegram and like their work - why not too?
For the average and basic user, chatting to friends, subscribing to a few channels and all, there really is not much difference with Premium.
The version is coming out soon, so to subscribe simply update your app and head over to Settings > Telegram Premium to subscribe.
