Rather nice play for a staying. Appropriate rooms. Good food. 5 o’clock Siberian tea party for clients, tasty tea and pies. Apples at the reception at any time. Just at the centre, where the Irtysh and Om are kissing each other. Though A rather slow elevator.

I stayed here with my Dad for 3 nights. The staff were very friendly and humorous at the same time. Not all spoke English, so one of them told us on an evening 'tomorrow speak English', so we went again tomorrow but still they didn't speak English. In the end we managed to use google translate. The buffet breakfast is among the best I've had and had a massive variety of food to choose from. The only problem here is that there was a dead bug on one of the buffet plates. The room was spacious but looked as it was from the Soviet era and had several squashed mosquitos on the curtains. The room offered a great view and sunset was amazing. Our booking confirmation said that the room has air conditioning but it didn't actually. It was also loud every night even though we were on the 8th floor. …

I stayed in Tourist hotels within the business trip in the beginning of June 2017. I had business standard room with perfect view to Irtysh river. Room was spacious, with big and comfy bed, free mini-bar and bottle of water, bathrobe and slippers (that's surprising for 3* hotel). There are two types of breakfast - "early-bird" continental from 4 a.m. to 7 a.m. and another one from 7 a.m. to 10.30 a.m. The variety of dishes is huge and it's good for every one from vegan to meat-lover. Coffee is also good. I really enjoyed the breakfast here. They also make Siberian tea ceremony every day from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. And of course you can have a lunch and dinner there as Globus restaurant is a part of the hotel. The staff is perfect, professional, polite, friendly and helpful. They ordered me the taxi to the airport (but I overslept it :) ). The one and only minus for me was the audibility. I heard my neighbor snoring as if we slept together :))) (but I'm sure we didn't :) ). Anyway another time I'm in Omsk I definitely stay here and will recommend it to all my colleagues. …

This Hotel looks like a cheap hotel, enough central location, clean hotel. But this time there are a big renovation inside the hotel and everywhere too many voices, workers, etc. If I did not pay cah for 4 days in entrance, I will change it.
Room Tip: 11th floor's rooms are small.

They gave a marquee on the "beach" pumping out loud music at 11pm! "Restaurant is big but thy is not a compliment. It is bad. We walked out. Apathy and surliness is the service to expect. They have wifi but only one operating lift. Be prepared to wait.

The hotel is an easy walk from Omsk cathedral and other sights. The room overlooked the river, had nice simple modern decoration and was much larger than comparable hotels. We were a large group eating between 20.00 and 22.00hours and like many of the other Russian hotels we stayed in the food on our buffet ran out and very little was provided to top it up. To add insult to injury they wanted to charge extra for milk for coffee. Oh and the room did not have a kettle an essential for me even though I always travel with a water heater to cover just such circumstances.

A special tripadvisor badge for what might be the world's worst hotel, or at least its Spartan essence. Someone carefully swept this place to make sure that anything that qualifies as an "amenity" was removed. To be clear, when compared to the price, location, and potential, the value tradeoff here is so weak, really you should never stay. If you want a budget place, go cheaper. If you want something that's decent and comfortable, this certainly isn't. If you want something nice, my god run away. The rooms are small and the beds are basically cots. There is no AC so you are either heating, or opening a window. There is no water, no internet, no turndown, no nothing. The lobby is drag, the restaurant ridiculous, the premises tired. Breakfast in this hotel earns a special distinction. This is the worst hotel breakfast that has ever been served on planet earth. They charge almost 10 dollars for it, which, relative to the fact that you can walk a block and find a string of cafes service real food at a quarter of the cost, is absurd. They have a buffet with something that resembles scrambled eggs (hint - its not eggs), mystery meat cold cuts, curdled/lumpy milk, and some cocoapuffs. Bypass at all costs. The staff, in fairness, try. They smile at you as if to say "it will be ok" but they know, poor things, that they are selling the pink slime. I appreciate their efforts to be friendly, but the product doesn't really help them. I know its the middle of Siberia but there are many decent small hotels to stay that are better, and the Ibis is also perfectly "good enough" for international standards. I came to Omsk on business and this was my first trip to Russia. Our first hotel choice, the Ibis, was booked full so we stayed here instead. The location was good; It is right next to the river and near the main street through the city. However, since I was here in November, being outside for long wasn't a good idea. The rooms were clean and of a comfortable size. I think that the only reason that I slept as well as I did on the rather uncomfortable bed was because I was so tired. While I had a magnetic strip card entry on my door, my colleagues had the traditional key on their doors. The bathtub/shower was difficult to get in and out of because the sides of the tub were very high. The shower head was a wand and also mounted very high. The staff were not rude, but seemed generally unapproachable. Part of this was likely due to the language barrier, but the front desk knew enough English to overcome my inability to speak Russian and were helpful nonetheless. The presence of security was apparent, but its effectiveness was up for debate. Breakfast was the only meal that I ate in the restaurant. It was sufficient considering that I usually don't eat much for breakfast anyway. There was a variety of bland food offerings, some cold, some hot and some that should be hot but weren't. Many typical Russian offerings. Overall, the hotel is acceptable if you do not plan on spending a lot of time in it. For my next trip, I will try to book early enough so that I can get the Ibis instead. …

Not a bad hotel overall, excellent location but the hotel does not have Aircon and it is right on a busy strip, we were kept awake all night as the Friday night revellers went on until 5.30 am, then the noise of the traffic kicks in

I stayed at the Tourist many times always a wonderful experience, everyone from the front desk, room service, doormen, bar, restaurant and manager have always been friendly and cordial, the food at the restaurant is excellent, for breakfast you have a great choice of dishes, juices and incredible deserts.. location of the hotel is perfect for all activities around town.. views of the Irtysh River from my room were incredible in summer river boats cruise by, the banks of the river alive with people.. and this is just in the hotel.. the city is clean, safe, beautiful plenty of interesting shops, markets are nearby, night life.. if you want to find real down to earth Russians and a quieter life get away from the huge cities and visit Siberia.. I've been to many countries with warm climates, but Siberia has a warmth from its people that cannot be matched! the Tourist is the best in Omsk.. …
