A polyamorous couple who joked about a threesome resulting in a surprise pregnancy have gone viral on TikTok .
Creator, Jess, from Florida , shared her surprise after discovering a woman she and her husband spent a night with was pregnant with his baby.
In a clip that has gained over 4.7 million views, the couple hugged and laughed as they explained the situation, with Jess seeming to take it all in her stride, despite being open about her own fertility struggles on TikTok.
The video appeared to be tounge-in-cheek, but there was no shortage of commenters claiming that it's happened to them in real life.
A TikTok creator called Jess revealed her husband got another woman pregnant after they decided to have a threesome
After sharing the video with their 623,000 followers, the couple gained over 4.7 million views on TikTok
Jess later shared that the pair were actually in a polyamorous relationship with the woman who got pregnant
Using the emojis of two woman and one man in the video, Jess explained: 'Gives my husband [threesome] for our one year anniversary. He gets her pregnant and we don't have any.'
In the caption of the video, Jess called the situation, 'A night that’ll last forever.'
Some commenters were baffled at the couple's sex life and wondered why any wife would be okay with her husband getting another woman pregnant.
One person said: 'That’s actually real sad'.
Some commenters were perplexed at the situation and wondered why the couple weren't more careful with protection
While another wrote: 'I don't know why women put themselves in this situation. Doesn’t sound like love to me'.
A third person agreed saying: 'that’s so sad'.
Later, one commenter gave some advice for keeping pregnancies within the marriage, saying: 'that's why I'm the semen receptacle in EVERY [threesome] situation.'
To which Jess responded, explaining that the three were actually all in a relationship, saying: 'We’re poly. So it’s her man too. so.
Some commenters were supportive of the couple and thought others shouldn't be so quick to judge
Referring to why her husband doesn't use contraception or ensure that he doesn't ejaculate when having sex with their girlfriend, she wrote: 'It would be selfish and unfair in our household and relationship to do so.'
Meanwhile, other commenters were supportive and some shared their own stories of threesome pregnancies.
One person said: 'Lol calling me out I’ve been in this exact situation'.
While another shared: 'This is how I got pregnant with my now three-year-old.
'My ex girlfriend and her boyfriend at the time. He hasn't even met his daughter and her and I are still on good terms'.
A third person said: 'That child is gonna love you just like his/her own momma!'

Married couple Lo and Mike Taylor became a “thruple” after a one-night threesome with their now girlfriend, Jess Woodstock, turned into a deep emotional connection in June 2018.
But now three is soon to become four, after Lo and Mike naturally conceived a baby in March.
Mike and Jo are hoping to give three equal parts flesh and blood to their offspring by letting Jess share the task of nursing the child.

The trio from Denver, Colorado, admit they regularly face people who don’t understand their lifestyle, with questions over their sex life and doubts about jealousy over the various intertwined relationships.
But the loved-up clan have dismissed the negativity, claiming their baby will have even more opportunities and everything it could “ever wanT.”
“The first question that everyone asked us was ‘who is carrying the baby?’,” Lol, 30, said.
“Most people have been very sweet and thoughtful but even just a few months ago before we announced the pregnancy, we were seeing comments from people saying things like ‘wait until one of them gets pregnant, we will see what happens then’.
“But we’ve been trying to have a baby together for over a year and when we found out we were pregnant it was one of the best things that ever happened to the three of us.
“These comments always come from people who wouldn’t be able to handle this themselves, and that’s ok because it’s not for everyone.
" ‘When we found out we were pregnant it was one of the best things that ever happened to the three of us.’ "
“Jess will be involved as much as she can all the way down to nursing the baby.
“I know some women might be funny about letting another person nurse their child but we want to get as much of each of us in the baby as we can, because it’s a 33 per cent share from each of us.
“I wanted Jess to be in this baby as much as possible because it will look like me and Mike, so we want as much of her DNA as we can get too.
“This baby will have more chances and opportunities to do the things that they want - if they want to play soccer they can, if they want to do yoga they can.
“It will have so much more opportunity to grow and will have everything that I could ever possibly want or need.”
In the video below, UK couple ditch jobs to live on the open road
College sweethearts, Mike and Lo shacked up as they graduated and got married four years ago.
But the adventurous pair, who had always discussed the excitement of having a threesome were left shocked when they realised they wanted much more than just a one-night thing with Jess, 31, who they met at a concert in June 2018.
Lo said: “Before we met Jess our relationship was a lot more vanilla.
“We kept to ourselves, but we always discussed how it would be fun to have a threesome with someone else.
“I was the one who approached one of Jess’ friends and asked her about Jess.
“She started laughing and explained that Jess was polyamorous.
“We didn’t even know what that meant, I remember Mike and I had to google it.
“We always thought it would just be a one-time fun threesome with no emotions attached.
“Usually you think of a threesome as a scary thing because it could get sticky, but this was quite the opposite.
" ‘We always thought it would just be a one-time fun threesome with no emotions attached.’ "
“I remember the day after we met Jess we were at her house and we both agreed we wanted to see more of this girl, we both just loved being around her, it was organic like any normal relationship.
“Our sex life has definitely been enhanced having another person in the bedroom.
“It brings a whole new dynamic, there are more sensations, more to look at and more to touch.
“We saw it as an enhancement to our marriage, it wasn’t one-sided, it wasn’t just one of us making the decision.”
Despite some initial concerns from Lo’s family, who were as surprised as she was to learn that she was bisexual, the thruple was soon widely accepted by all three families and their friends.
But the three admitted that many people struggle to understand their triangular bond, with many questioning how Mike can handle two women, or questioning if Jess feels left out as she is not also married to her partners.
Mike, 31, said: “People use the word girlfriend as a bit of a throwaway term of endearment so sometimes we have to spell it out for them and the look on their faces is priceless.
“They might have never heard of a thruple before or they don’t understand how it could work because they couldn’t do something like this.
“They usually go straight to the physical aspects when they start to ask questions but it’s such a deeper love than just that.
“We always say it’s 3+0 not 2+1 because we all want the same thing.
“I get to see two people that I love dearly, love each other, and that’s a difficult feeling to describe to someone else.”
Lo added: “Men usually do one of two things, they look at Mike and think he’s a god or that he has it made or they say I can’t even handle one woman, let alone two.”
" ‘We always say it’s 3+0 not 2+1 because we all want the same thing.’ "
Jess said: “Sometimes people ask if I feel like I’m less than them or worry because I don’t have a ring on my finger but I know that the two of them are planning an engagement, whether it happens now or in a few years it doesn’t matter, I know that I’m an equal part of this relationship.”
After discussing their future as a three, the thruple decided to start trying for a baby, naturally conceiving their little miracle in March this year.
While Lo will be carrying the child, Jess intends to be involved as much as possible, acting as her home birth doula and will even nurse the baby by syncing up her cycle and hormones with Lo to stimulate milk production in her body.
Jess said: “At this point I don’t see myself bearing a child but to still be able to have that skin to skin contact with this baby and being able to nurture it in that way is so important to me.
“Formula is the last resort and last thing that we want to give our baby so being able to take some of that burden off Lo so she is able to rest and recuperate is special too.
“Not a lot of women can say I’m going to take this shift off and let my girlfriend breastfeed tonight.
" ‘Not a lot of women can say I’m going to take this shift off and let my girlfriend breastfeed tonight.’ "
“I absolutely adore Lo so being able to do that for her makes me feel almost as if the baby came out of me as well.”
With their addition due to arrive on December 26 later this year, the trio have dubbed the baby their Christmas miracle.
Jess said: “We have met a couple of other thruples and the kids they have are amazing.
“They know so much more love and understanding and acceptance of people they have such huge hearts these thruple children have no hate for anyone.
“Some of our friends who are in two-person relationships joke that they wish they had an extra pair of hands to help out with their kids.

Seven girls, ages 13 to 15, are pregnant after a five-day school trip to their country’s capital city and their parents are being blamed.
The schoolgirls, from the city of Banja Luka, went to the Bosnia and Herzegovina capital, Sarajevo.
Nenad Babici, the national coordinator for reproductive health of the republic, told Inserbia.info that it was discovered that the seven schoolgirls got pregnant on the school trip.
The school in Banja Luka had taken 28 girls to the nation’s capital city for a five-day trip to visit museums and historic sights in the city, ranked among the finest in the world.
Furious parents are demanding to know why there was such a lack of teacher supervision, reported the Daily Mail .
However, Babici blamed parents for not educating their children properly.
He said that early sexual relations later lead to adverse consequences such as infertility, various diseases, miscarriages and premature births.
Senad Mehmedbasic, a Sarajevo gynecologist, said a growing trend of underage pregnancies in Bosnia and Herzegovina is worrying.
“That is the trend of today. But we cannot continue to allow our children to be educated about sex on the street and not in school,” he told Inserbia.info.
Educational institutes and parents, he said, should play a stronger role in providing effective sex education.
“It is obvious that children do not have enough knowledge of health education, so they engage in such activities, not knowing the consequences.
“We have to be more direct in the educational system, it must not be allowed that street teaches children about intimate matters, and that they are later slapped by life.”
