A heavily pregnant woman was left mortified after experiencing an 'obvious' and 'leg-shaking' orgasm during a pelvic exam. 
The anonymous mother-to-be, believed to be from the US, took to the Reddit thread TIFU (Today I F****d Up) to share her 'embarrassing' story, which she claimed happened a couple of weeks ago.
She explained that since being pregnant she has been particularly sensitive in her 'nether regions' and can orgasm three to four times during sex, which makes her husband feel like a 'rock star'.
While she's always had a healthy libido, it's been 'through the roof' since she passed her first trimester.
But it resulted in a mortifying moment during a routine pelvic examination with her female obstetrician.
Having experienced a few complications during her pregnancy, she explained that her OB wanted to do a quick pelvic exam to check everything was OK with the baby.

The woman admitted her doctor is 'straight-up gorgeous' - 'tall, slender, beautiful smile, long legs, the whole deal' - and confessed that the medical professional could make her reconsider her sexuality.
'While I generally identify as heterosexual, this woman could definitely make me reconsider that (especially with all these crazy pregnancy hormones),' she wrote on the thread.
'This fact makes the whole experience a lot more horrifying.'
During the examination she told how she tried to suppress the orgasm, but she knew it was inevitable as her OB began 'pressing around'.
'I get on the table, feet in the stirrups, and my OB lubes up her hands and inserts two fingers and begins the exam,' she recalled. 
'And I knew it was going to happen. I tried to suppress it. I tried to will it not to happen.'
She went on to say she then, 'very obviously', experienced sexual climax, 'moaning, shaking legs and all'.
The woman concluded by admitting to just about dying from embarrassment on the table and 'considered honorable suicide via speculum'. 
The woman added: 'To my doctor’s credit, she handled the whole thing beautifully. She reassured me that it's so common to be sensitive down there and this happens all the time (highly doubt that) and blah blah blah blah. 
'There was definitely an air of uncomfortable tension in the room after that moment though. So yeah. I can't look my OB in the eye anymore, but with only a month left in pregnancy, I have no choice but to keep seeing her. 
'And know that she knows what my orgasm face looks like.'
Her post, entitled 'TIFU by having a happy ending during a pelvic exam', attracted more than 2,200 comments, with many fellow mothers reassuring her that worse embarrassing moments are yet to come. 
One wrote: 'Don't worry. You're gonna c*** on her during delivery, so this will not be the most embarrassing thing ever. Congrats on baby!' 
Another replied: 'Oohhh the poops is the worst of labor in my opinion. I wanted so bad not to poop giving birth but you literally can't control other bodily functions while pushing a human the size of a baby watermelon out.'

Higher levels of estrogen and progesterone, as well as an increase in blood flow to the genitals, can lead to heightened sexual desire.
Women will not all react in the same way to hormonal changes. However, it is common for a woman's sex drive to decrease during the first trimester, peak in the second, and go down again in the third. 
Meanwhile others assured her the experience was indeed more common than she thought.
'You're fine. It actually does happen more often than one would think. OBGYNs have dealt with this and faaaaar worse. You'll be great,' one wrote.
Another commented: 'I would say that based on the fact I have read similar stories multiple times on Reddit, this prolly does happen a lot more than you realize (sic).'
And one suggested: 'Pretty sure that happens a lot during proctology exams too. Doctors have been subjected to worse. Enjoy your ninth month.' 
Though one observed: 'Just asked a friend... apparently it is uncommon, kinda rare! Happened maybe max of 10 times a year in their whole department with several doctors! 
'My friend said it's not exactly a comfortable situation - so if it does happen to the woman - she must be really, really, really turnt and sensitive and very comfortable and relaxed with her doctor to have that happen (sic).'
