A TEENAGER who claims she was impregnated by a ten-year-old boy when she was 13 has revealed she is expecting a girl.
Russian schoolgirl Darya posted a video for her 119,000 followers of her and boyfriend Ivan, 10, sharing the gender of the unborn baby.
He popped a balloon she held with the words ‘Boy or Girl?’
This unleashed pink balloons as the pair embraced and kissed.
She captioned the video “Little Karolinochka” - the fond name for Karolina.
Darya - now 14, from the town of Zheleznogorsk in Russia - shocked the world after she appeared on a Russian TV show claiming the father of her child was a "pre-pubescent" youngster, and shared snaps of her 20-weeks-pregnant belly.
But medical expert Dr Evgeny Grekov who examined Ivan said: “ There cannot be sperm cells . He is still a child.”
He added: “We re-checked the laboratory results three times so there cannot be any mistake.”
With parental permission, a troubling television show revealed the faces of the children at the centre of a case that has caused deep controversy in Russia.
The boy and his parents agreed to his medical examination with the results revealed to millions of viewers when the children, Ivan and Darya, were out of the studio.
She has made clear she is determined to keep the baby, and expects to give birth via caesarean.
The children are said to be from different schools in the Krasnoyarsk Territory in Siberia but are understood to have been friends since they were younger.
Cops launched a probe when the pregnancy came to light and the girl's school are assisting officers.
A police spokesman said: "On January 13, 2020, the police received information from doctors of the Federal State Budget Healthcare Institution of the city of Zheleznogorsk that a 13-year-old schoolgirl was pregnant.
"The Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation for the Krasnoyarsk Territory and the Republic of Khakassia have launched an investigation and a decision will follow."
In February, reports from Russian media said Darya claimed she had invented the story about Ivan, and she really became pregnant after she was raped by a 15-year-old boy.
But since those reports, Darya took to her some 60,000-plus followers on social media telling them the rape claim was “complete nonsense”.
She also added there had been no DNA test to establish paternity.
Police and the Russian Investigative Committee have not commented on reports that a boy, 15, was put under house arrest.
No charges or criminal investigation have been announced.

A 19-year-old schoolgirl experienced the biggest shock of her life. She had absolutely no clue she was expecting until she ended up giving birth on the living room floor of her house.
Life is full of unexpected happenings, and some of them are so unbelievably true that we can't help doing a double-take. This teenager went through the same rollercoaster when she gave birth to her baby after her first day back at school.
The girl said that she was completely unaware of her pregnancy until she saw a baby's head popping from under her school skirt. She mentioned that she felt unwell after her first day at school but had no apparent symptoms of being pregnant.

19-year-old Alexis shared her unexpected pregnancy story on the popular social media platform TikTok. It has garnered more than 6 million views, with several thousand people liking and commenting on the video. She also added:
"My mum mentioning she had heartburn when pregnant with me, me realizing I’ve had a bit of heartburn lately and taking a pregnancy test during the summer holidays (sic)."
As it turns out, Alexis went through what medical science refers to as "cryptic pregnancy" at the age of 15. Cryptic pregnancy cannot be detected through any medical testing techniques or the common symptoms like nausea and vomiting, menstruation, or baby bump.

The teen mother explained that she knew something wasn't right. Her mom told her she had undergone heartburn when she was expecting her. When Alexis also experienced slight heartburn, she decided to take a pregnancy test, which turned out to be negative.
On top of that, Alexis didn't miss her periods and had no other usual pregnancy symptoms, so she shoved away all her suspicions and went back to school. However, she felt a little backache, for which she took painkillers and decided to rest.
Unfortunately, the painkillers didn't help, and the teen mom stayed up all night, writhing in pain. After a few hours, she realized she was going into labor.
When the pain became unbearable, at 6 am, Alexis woke her parents up, who thought she was trying to make excuses for ditching school. Eventually, she put on her uniform but ran straight to the washroom minutes later and experienced a sudden need to push.
It was then that she called to her mom, feeling scared and confused, and realized she was about to deliver a baby. When her mother arrived and saw a baby's head under her uniform skirt, their suspicions became true.

The teen mom further shared that while her mother was shocked to see what had befallen her, she was surprised by her dad's reaction, who "ran out the door for pregnancy tests."
Alexis has shared part 2 of her pregnancy video, where she added more details on how she ended up delivering a baby without having any idea she was expecting. She said that the anterior placement of her placenta concealed the baby's kicks and movements.
Many people have been bewildered by her pregnancy story, sharing their views on her TikTok videos. One user commented: "Find cryptic pregnancies amazing yet scary. Like I've had 2 kids and find it amazing that some people really don't know."

Several people were amused by her dad's reaction, who ran for pregnancy tests at such a sensitive time. One user said: "I'm laughing your dad bringing pregnancy tests when the baby's head was already out ( sic )."

Darya Sudnishnikova was just 13 when she conceived her daughter, Emilia, now 11 months, hitting headlines around the world after claiming on national TV her then 10-year-old ex boyfriend, Ivan (Vanya), was the father .
But Russian experts said it was “impossible” and Darya later claimed that in fact she became pregnant after she was raped by a boy, 15, on a stairwell , but had been too ashamed to admit it.
A criminal investigation is ongoing.
Now 15, Darya told her followers she believes she is six weeks pregnant, and has seen a gynaecologist, discussing her struggles to decide whether or not to have a termination.
“I don’t know what to do, I really do not,” she told a Telegram online channel.
“I cannot decide on an abortion, because I do not know exactly how many weeks.
“If it is really six weeks, it is already a foetus.
“But I cannot have this baby because I clearly realise that I am unable to raise another child.
“I already have one. I will not have any time for the second one.”
The father is allegedly a 17-year-old named Maksim who she has been in an exclusive sexual relationship for around eight months.
Darya told how her mother Elena, 36, and boyfriend reacted when she said she was pregnant.
“She was deeply shocked and said: ‘Shall I beat you with a belt or …? I said – ‘No, please.’
“Then she asked, ‘Who is the father?’
She also claimed her boyfriend called her “stupid” after discovering the unexpected pregnancy, slamming his reaction online.
“I took birth control pills, but THEY DID NOT WORK!” she claimed.
When follower suggested it was “wrong” to have sex at her age and without a condom, she replied:
“You should ask Maksim. Why did he not use condoms? Not me.”
“If a person is ready for sexual intercourse and fully trusts his or her partner, it is all right. Why do you need to wait until your 18th birthday?”
The schoolgirl, who earns approximately $9000 a month since rising to social media fame as a teen mum, has 650,000 followers on Instagram and clocked up more than one million on TikTok but her account is currently blocked after complaints she is underage.
Her earnings are 12 times the average adult monthly salary in the Russian region, Krasnoyarsk, where she lives.
