Bethenny Frankel , who got engaged to her boyfriend Jason Hoppy earlier this month, is pregnant with her first child she tells PEOPLE exclusively.

Although The Real Housewives of New York City star had hoped to wait until she was further along to break the news, online buzz on PerezHilton.com caused her to reveal that she’s roughly two months pregnant. “It’s premature to be telling people this,” she tells PEOPLE while fighting back tears.

Though she knows she can hardly keep secrets now that she’s a reality star, Frankel, 38, says she’d hoped to keep the news private a bit longer. “It’s not like, ‘Did I Get Botox?’ It’s not the way I wanted it to get out,” she says. “I haven’t even gone through my first trimester. We haven’t even heard the heartbeat. My [fiancé’s] parents didn’t even know.”

PHOTOS: Who’s Due Next? She and Hoppy are “both so excited,” says Frankel. Still, she adds that because the pregnancy is early, “I am praying everything is okay but I don’t know that yet.”

Frankel, who met Hoppy at the nightclub Tenjune 11 months ago, says she’s thrilled to have found The One. “We were both complete players. We never thought we would find the right person.”

As for getting pregnant before tying the knot, she says, “I’m no spring chicken. I didn’t think it was going to happen right away. Because of my age, sometimes we weren’t totally careful.”

But she admits, “I got to be honest, we are both feeling kind of proud of ourselves. We are both 38 and we were like, ‘Listen, your fish can swim and I am fertile.’ So that’s exciting.”

The couple plans to wed before she has the baby. Explains Frankel, “Because of my age, it’s not like I was going to meet a boy, and then be engaged for a year and then be married for a year before we started trying [to have kids] … I’d be 45.” She describes the way things have unfolded as “like the Triple Crown. I got engaged, we got pregnant and we’re gonna get married. It’s a miracle.”

And while she’s less than two months into the pregnancy, Frankel says she’s already experiencing a change in her appetite.

“I’m hungry in a way that is not negotiable,” she says. “I’m not eating tremendous amount but if I am hungry, I will stab someone for food.”

She even ate a jar of pickles before she’d taken her pregnancy test. “That’s so cliché,” she says. “I just want salt. Salt on everything.”

A pregnant woman has banned her husband — and her in-laws — from the delivery room after a baby name debate spiraled.
Choosing your baby’s name is a heavy decision and couples will deliberate, and even disagree, on the topic. But opening up the debate to extended family members is messy, as a woman on Reddit learned. “In my husband’s family, there is a tradition of naming a baby before it is born,” she explained on Reddit’s “ Am I The A**hole ” vertical. “The name is embroidered onto a blanket that has been passed down from generation to generation, and the baby is wrapped in the blanket when it is born. I’m trying to come up with a name we both like, but some of the names he suggests do not resonate with me.”
Her husband, who the wife says criticizes her name choices, has suggested they name the baby after his grandmother Beatrice, which his wife doesn’t like. “I wanted to have a list of names so that when I see her I can name her after what I think is appropriate,” she explained. “Although it can sound odd, I wanted to see her before naming her but have decided not to so that he can please his family.”
The original poster wants to name their baby Jessica, after her late sister, and that’s where her mother-in-law comes in. “Today his mother was pressuring me to suggest a name, and I just blurted out the name Jessica,” she wrote. “After a pause and a laugh, she said it was a name for a large girl, and it was a very unsuitable name. She went on to ask me if I wanted the baby to be ugly and if I was trying to ruin its life before it was even born.”
Later, this happened: “As he is close with his sister, he struggled with his frustrations with her, which she then did to her mother. The next day she was at my doorstep and told me that she decided on a name. and then said my decor was tacky, She said she was naming the baby Connie, after her mother. It was a name neither I nor my husband picked, and wouldn’t cause an argument between us. I told her no and asked her to leave and eventually, she did, but not after some insults were issued to me.”
The woman’s husband agreed with his family — and kicked his wife out of their home. “I packed my things, then went to my older sister’s house,” she wrote adding of her husband, “He’s been trying to contact me for a few days now, apologizing, but I don’t want to speak to him.”
As it stands, the wife refuses to inform her in-laws when she goes into labor and won’t allow them — or her husband — to be present for the birth. However, she regrets the outcome. “…I was rude to his mother, and I feel I have been impatient with my in laws,” she told the forum. “I may be in the wrong as it is a tradition and it’s not my choice to break it. It means a lot to them, and it may have been unfair of me.”
So what does Reddit think? Well, not very highly of the woman’s in-laws.
“The audacity of the mother coming in and ‘picking out a name,'” someone wrote. “….This is not her place. I think they’re causing too much stress for you and the baby. Going to give birth alone I think is a better situation…” A commenter then wrote, “MIL needs to be kept away from the baby, probably until the baby is an adult and can speak for herself.”
But readers held the husband accountable writing, “Your husband and his family are incredibly toxic and entitled” and “If her husband can treat her like this and kick her out when she’s pregnant and extremely vulnerable I don’t want to know what else he’s capable of.”
“File for divorce,” someone recommended.
And readers wanted the soon-to-be mom to stand up for herself. “…You’re going to be a mother OP, stop letting people walk all over you or they will expect to do the same to your child” and one questioned, “Do you really want to put up with that forever?”

The supermodel says complications from a CoolSculpting treatment left her "unrecognizable."
Priscilla Fleming became a licensed massage therapist in 2019 to help people. What she didn’t expect was sexual harassment, which she says began almost instantly. “At that point I now had to process this traumatic experience while also navigating a brand new industry that put me alone in a dark room with strangers. So I really contemplated just leaving the industry all together between the vulgar messages and then trying to navigate that. I wasn't sure if it was worth it, but I stuck it out, “ says Fleming. In response, Fleming launched the ethics course, “Safety & Solicitation: Gaslighting and Power Dynamics” to help other therapists recognize threatening behavior from clients. She’s also on a mission to combat harmful stereotypes that plague the massage industry. The dangers facing massage therapists made headlines last month, when NFL quarterback Deshuan Watson was suspended by the Cleveland Browns for 11 games and given a $5 million fine after he was accused of sexual misconduct by 24 massage therapists. Allegations included Watson exposing himself and manipulating therapists into touching him in an inappropriate manner. Two of the women also accused Watson of pressuring them to perform oral sex. While Watson has repeatedly denied the claims, 23 of the 24 civil lawsuits have been settled. In an interview with Sports Radio 610, Watson’s lawyer, Rusty Hardin, claimed that a ‘happy ending’ was not a crime unless extra money was paid for the service. “I feel as though he single handedly put a lot of us at risk to be assaulted,” says Fleming. “The NFL is a very large, well known industry and there is a very large fan base. So by his lawyer making these allegations, I'm afraid that this is going to empower that fan base to come and seek what Dashaun Watson was receiving.” With her ethics course, Fleming spends considerable time educating other therapists about gaslighting and grooming tactics used by predatory clients. Gaslighting involves manipulating someone by sowing self doubt in what they are experiencing, and grooming is a process of seeing how far a predator can push past a person's personal boundaries. Fleming notes that in the therapeutic relationship, the licensed therapist is granted the power to lead the dynamic in a professional setting. She says that when that power dynamic shifts, therapists may find themselves operating in threatening territory.
