There was some prenatal panic at the disco.
Vivian Wise Ruizvelasco said she had no idea she was pregnant until she went into labor — while busting some moves at a club. A video describing the baby’s booty-shaking coming out party currently boasts 17.2 million views on TikTok.
“I found out I was pregnant when I was already in labor,” Ruizvelasco told of the dance dance revelation, which occurred while she was out celebrating a friend’s birthday. She had reportedly felt a bit under the weather that week but wasn’t going to let it stop her participating in the festivities.
“Since [two days prior] I had felt a little bad, but it wasn’t that bad and on the Saturday, I didn’t feel bad at all,” the Mexico-based sales assistant told NeedToKnow.Online. “At night, I went to dinner and celebrated a friend’s birthday, but I decided to leave because I felt quite ill.”
She added “I had pain in my hip and stomach, which I obviously didn’t know what it was and I got home around midnight.”
Little did she know, a baby was having a little dance party of its own in utero.
Things only got worse the next day while Ruizvelasco went to work after not getting to bed until 9 a.m.
Despite “taking a thousand pills and drinking tea,” the unexpectedly expectant mother’s pain only intensified until, around 3 p.m., Tonatiuh González decided to take her out of work and transport his other half to the hospital.
That’s when she learned of her stealth bun in the oven: “They told me that the pain was because I was in labor and that I had to give birth,” she said. “Immediately, I went into shock for many reasons — such as if the baby was OK and what I was going to do with him, as I’ve never carried a baby [before] in my life.”
She fretted “about everything I needed to buy and in that moment, my world fell apart.”
However, Ruizvelasco didn’t have time to worry about the future as she was “dying of pain” due to her baby’s imminent arrival. In fact, the birth was reportedly approaching so fast that doctors had to perform a C-section.
Minutes later, the mother was sedated, whereupon she gave birth to a little boy she named Matías.
The aforementioned video clip, shared to the woman’s nearly 30,000 TikTok followers, shows a compilation of the party girl drinking at the club and relaxing at the pool with her friends and boyfriend. All the while, the captions count down the days until the birth, until at the very end, she can be seen in a photo cradling her newborn baby.
Needless to say, the couple had mixed emotions about the development with Ruizvelasco describing: “I stayed awake until he was born and I don’t know what I felt [upon seeing him].”
And while she didn’t “feel hurt” or anything, her boyfriend was “in shock,” which she presumed had to do with all the responsibilities of being a parent.
“He clearly had to get moving as there were things we needed, as well as how we were going to pay for the hospital,” she said. “He had to get all of that from almost one day to the next and he was so scared, but I understood.”
Fortunately, while life was initially hard as she had no experience with babies, Ruizvelasco said that over time she began to “adapt” to motherhood.
“The fact I have to teach him how to be in life is very nice and he’s already going to day care, as well as being happy,” she gushed. “He’s my son, my partner and the love of my life — it’s honestly the best and most sudden thing that could have happened to me.”
Ruizvelasco said her atypical pregnancy saga split TikTok with some critics claiming her story “was impossible” and “a lie.”
“I’m sorry but how do you not feel the baby move or find it strange you missed your period?” wondered one skeptic.
Another wrote, “nvmd the period but how do you not feel the baby move inside?”
On the other side of the spectrum, “many women commented that the same thing happened to them,” Ruizvelasco said.
“This happened to mom, she went for a check up and the doctor told her: Miss you are 8 months pregnant!!!!!!!!!!!” insisted one commenter.
“This is actually common, some women don’t grow a stomach and because of fetal placement don’t feel the baby kick and are lucky to be asymptomatic,” claimed one internet OBGYN.
In a similar case July, a UK woman didn’t realize she’d been pregnant until gave birth to her daughter while on the toilet.

Home News New Club “Baby Bumpers” Features Pregnant Dancers, Opening In Oregon

Springfield, OR – Residents were shocked today to find out about a very unique kind of strip club opening in their neighborhood. The new club, which will be known as Baby Bumpers , is like any other strip club with one exception –all dancers are required to be at least 6 months pregnant.
The club owner, 45-year-old Buck Jackson, is determined to make his new idea work.
“Truth is, all you see in the clubs around here just a bunch of girls all sucked up lookin’ like Skeletor and sh*t. Personally, I like fat bottoms and healthy girls with a little meat on them. One night I was laying in bed watching some pregnant belly dancers on the TV, and the idea just hit me… Why not make a pregnant girl strip joint?”
The building where Baby Bumpers will be opening, was once home to Andre Nickatina’s club known as Nikki’s Gentlemen’s Club on Main Street in Springfield, Oregon. The club is expected to open sometime before the new year.
One lady in the neighborhood, who wished to remain anonymous, was actually pretty happy about the idea. “Hey, way I see it is with the tough economy, any opportunity for a pregnant girl just trying to put food on the table for her and her baby is a good one!” the woman told That Oregon Life.
Jackson wanted us to make sure we get the word out he has plenty of positions to fill, and the only requirement is they must be at least 6 months pregnant and of course have legal proof of their age.

A few girls on my Facebook who went downtown drinking every weekend are still going to clubs every weekend even though they're like 5 months pregnant. They aren't drinking or even smoking and I don't have a problem with it I just wonder why? I've always been a homebody myself and being around drunk people really annoys me if I'm not drinking too. Any of you moms go out a lot with friends who were drinking during your first pregnancy? What's the appeal?
I went out a couple of times for friends birthdays but I didn't enjoy it and left early.
Meh I wasnt showing too much around 5 months, I went out sometimes with friends, no drinking or nothing. However when I was showing, I didnt like going anywhere lol!!
I wouldn't go out to clubs pregnant, what if some drunk idiot stumbles and pushes you over?
I went to a outdoor rock festival 2 weeks ago and as I was crowd surfing trying to get closer to Five Finger Death Punch (freaking AMAZING btw, love those guys), I saw a couple pregnant girls really close to the mosh pit! They were getting some crazy stares and people had made a circle around them as if pregnancy was contagious! OR because they didn't want to be responsible for hurting the women while trying to mosh. Some people are nuts! I go to this festival every year, EXCEPT when I'm pregnant. Not even worth the risk. People are idiots, especially us red necks ;)
I personally wouldn't because I didn't before I was pregnant either. For some, they have a hard time giving up their old lifestyle... I am sure they get stared at and watched while they are out. Other people around them are most likely to judge, but as long as they aren't causing their babies any harm then who cares!
I went to a couple of df's shows (he's a musician) when I was preg and I was falling asleep and so achy at the end.
i went to a club with some girlfriends closer to the begining of my pregnancy(im 28 weeks right now) and pretty much hated it it was to smokey, comeing from a smoker says alot, i was pretty wore out by the time we got there being i was always tired at the time and they just had to go to the mall and buy new outfits before we went, they are a couple years younger then me and more prissy then myself as well, and then we had to stand in the cold outside for an hour or so before we could get a ride home, we only had one dd,me, and to many of us to fit in one car so we took a cab and couldnt get ahold of a cab to come get us, needless to say i have now vowed if i ever go for another girls night it will be after i have my lo and thats a big if anyway since ive never been much of a club goer anyway
I went once while I was pregnant and I was close to 7 months. I wasn't showing much but I still had a bit of a bump. I felt uncomfortable being the only pregnant person around. I danced for a very short time and I was practically exhausted and a bit sore. It was not a fun experience for me. I'm not a regular at the clubs anyway. I know a girl that is pregnant and I think she's still going to the clubs. I feel bad for the kid already because a month after the baby is born, it's the girl's birthday. And she's already got plans to hit the clubs around town. Sad.
my girlfriends took me out to dinner when i.finished up work for my mat leave. we stopped at bar on the way home.for a drink. i had a coke. but the women in ladies room.completely looked me uo and down like i was a disgrace to society.to be pregnant in public
