Mark Zuckerberg and Priscilla Chan are adding another little girl to the family!

The Meta CEO, 38, and the philanthropist, 37, are expecting their third baby, another daughter, Zuckerberg announced on social media Wednesday.

"Lots of love. Happy to share that Max and August are getting a new baby sister next year!" he wrote alongside a sweet photo of the couple.

In the photo, Zuckerberg places his hand on Chan's stomach as the pair smile for the camera.

The couple, who tied the knot in 2012, are already parents to two young daughters: August , 5, and Maxima "Max," 6.

Zuckerberg and Chan's love story began in 2003 when they started dating after meeting in line for the bathroom at a party at Zuckerberg's Harvard University fraternity when he was a sophomore and she was a freshman.

The couple moved in together in September 2010, he wrote on Facebook at the time. Then, in May 2012, they tied the knot in a ceremony in their Palo Alto backyard — surprising their guests, who thought they were there to celebrate Chan's graduation from UCSF medical school.

Since then, the couple launched the Chan Zuckerberg Initiative together in 2015, pledging 99 percent of their wealth to causes including improving education and curing disease.

The pair recently celebrated their 10th wedding anniversary, commemorating the special milestone by recreating one of the photos they took together on their special day back in 2012.

"10 years married and half our lives together," Zuckerberg wrote alongside the recreated snap . "Here's to more adventures."

The Facebook billionaire announced he and his wife of 10 years are expecting a baby sister for their two daughters.
Congratulations to Mark Zuckerberg and his wife Priscilla Chan ! The Facebook founder, 38, and philanthropist, 37, announced they are pregnant with their third child! Taking to his Instagram on Wednesday (September 21), Mark shared the happy news with his 10m followers by posting a sweet snap of the couple, who already share daughters and Maxima (Max), 6, and August , 5.
“Lots of love,” Mark wrote alongside the snap of him placing his hand on Priscilla’s growing baby bump. “Happy to share that Max and August are getting a new baby sister next year!”
The tech giant and the philanthropist began dating after meeting at Harvard University in 2003. During an interview with The New Yorker in 2010, Priscilla revealed she first bumped into Mark at a party held by his fraternity. “He was this nerdy guy who was just a little bit out there,” she said. “I remember he had these beer glasses that said ‘pound include beer dot H.’ It’s a tag for C++. It’s like college humor but with a nerdy, computer-science appeal.”
The couple would then move in with each other in Palo Alto, California after college. In 2012, they surprised friends by getting hitched during a private wedding that was disguised as a party for Priscilla’s graduation from medical school.
Mark announced that Priscilla gave birth to the pair’s first daughter Max in a November 2015 Facebook post. “We’re so happy to welcome our daughter Max into this world. Everyone is happy and healthy. Thank you for all your love and support through our pregnancy. There is so much joy in our little family,” he wrote.
Their second daughter August arrived in August 2017 with a message of support from her parents on, what else, Facebook. “You only get to be a child once, so don’t spend it worrying too much about the future. You’ve got us for that, and we’ll do everything we possibly can to make sure the world is a better place for you and all children in your generation,” they wrote. Congrats again to Mark and Priscilla!

The Meta CEO made the announcement on Facebook.
"Happy to share that Max and August are getting a new baby sister next year," Zuckerberg posted.
Zuckerberg and Chan have been married for 10 years. Their children are five and six years old.
This has been an interesting year for Zuckerberg. According to Bloomberg's Billionaires Index, which tracks the world's wealthiest people, the Facebook founder has seen his wealth cut by over half in 2022.
Zuckerberg's net worth is currently estimated at $55.9 billion.
Zuckerberg's wealth hit its peak in September 2021. At the time, he was worth $142 billion.
