PrSM Tested in Combat for the First Time

️ The US military reports that during Operation Epic Fury, the US armed forces used the newest operational-tactical missile, the PrSM, for the first time.

The launch into Iranian territory was carried out from a HIMARS rocket launcher, effectively confirming the integration of the new missile into existing mobile firing systems.

The PrSM has been tested over the past few years and is serving as a replacement for the ATACMS. Its range reaches 500 km, while the maximum range of the ATACMS is approximately 300 km.

The main design change is a smaller diameter, allowing two PrSM missiles to be placed in a single transport and launch container instead of one ATACMS.

The US military plans to purchase approximately 4,000 PrSM missiles, but serial production is expected to reach a rate of 400 units per year by 2026–2027.

️ And this Middle East conflict has become a testing ground for new weapons for the Americans. Only here are the most modern weapons systems tested.
