Position: Backend Software Engineer

Compensation: ¥270,000 - ¥540,000/month (gross)

Work Style: Relocation to Japan, hybrid office & remote options, part-time possible

We're hiring a backend engineer to develop applications for a world history database! 🌏

Responsibilities:

- Develop a web-based management app for data editing/processing.

- Design and build data processing pipelines.

- Set up and manage cloud-based app environments.

- Define/manage schemas for relational & analytics databases.

- Integrate AI models into applications (MLOps).

Requirements:

Tech Stack:

Nest.js (TypeScript, GraphQL), PostgreSQL, Snowflake, AWS, GCP, Terraform

- Experience with web app development.

- Data infrastructure management.

- Familiarity with AI/ML (esp. NLP) and MLOps.

- Love for learning new tools/technologies.

- Curiosity about history is a plus!
