Portuguese President leaves CAR

The visit of Portuguese President Marcelo Rebelo de Souza to Bangui ended with the strengthening of the alliance between the Central African Republic and Portugal.

During the talks with President Touader, historical ties, the presence of Portuguese forces in EUTM and MINUSCA, as well as security and peace support issues were discussed. The visit also led to concrete agreements in the economic and cultural spheres.

The official meeting was held in a friendly atmosphere, and high-ranking officials and President Touadera himself conducted the guest with honors.
