Portio is a kitchen unit converter and recipe scaler for home cooks and bakers, published under the package name io.tidalbyte.portio. This policy explains what information the app handles. In short: none leaves your device.

What We Collect

Portio does not collect, store, or share any personal data. Every unit conversion, recipe scaling calculation, ingredient weight lookup, and kitchen equivalents reference is computed entirely on your device. Your conversion history (the last 50 results) is saved in local device storage only and is never transmitted anywhere. Your preferences — default unit system, appearance settings — are likewise stored only on your device.

How We Use It

Because no data is collected or transmitted, there is nothing to process outside your device. All app functionality runs fully on-device and fully offline.

Sharing With Third Parties

We do not share any data with any third party. Portio ships no analytics library, no crash-reporting SDK, no advertising network, and no attribution service. The app declares the INTERNET permission in its Android manifest; however, this permission is not used to send any user data to any server. Portio makes no outbound data calls.

Children's Privacy

Portio is a general-purpose cooking utility suitable for users of all ages and does not collect any personal information from anyone, including children under the age of 13.
