At risk of lowering the tone, I'm wondering if Android TV will provide a good experience watching PornHub - either through the PornHub android app, or via Chrome. Can anyone confirm how well it works?
I'm not sure how well this works, but you can go the Kodi add-on route .
Install the Puffin TV web browser from the play store. PH will work just the same as the desktop site. I'd probably recommend connecting some sort of mouse though for easier navigation.
You could load up some of the xxx add-ons on kodi
You can download sideload launcher from play store
Apps installed outside the app store on Android TV don't appear on the home screen of your TV.
Are you sure that's still true for Android TV 8.0 and up?
In my limited experience this is no longer is true.
I just sideloaded Aurora store to see if that's a viable option to keep Android TV apps up to date that aren't available in my region.
Turns out it isn't and navigating the app is effectively broken.
But it showed up in the Android TV 8.0 app drawer (long press home button) just fine.
You can hit the mic button and ask Google Assistant to open it. That's what I do with Chrome.
There is an app for android phones. Just try sideloading onto your androidTV.
Use puffin tv browser app, its on the android tv app store
Puffin is still the best browser for using your remote to browse through sites. The sideloaded app is not going to work without a mouse and keyboard.
TIL that PornHub has it's own app that's not in the Google Playstore. I'll have to check it out. You'll have to sideload either the Chrome browser or the PH app. If you SL Chrome, then you can just download the app from there and install directly.
I always assumed the website would work in Chrome (maybe in desktop mode at least), but I've just been keeping my Roku around because they have a PornHub channel.

Don't really want to use my phone. Reasons various, but accidental casting to the wrong device in the house is one.
Maybe cast it from phone would be the best option? Anyway, Is there an app for Android tv???
