This porn star teacher is in hot water. A California judge recently denied a middle school teacher’s appeal to return to teaching after she was fired for her past career in porn.
The porn star teacher , 32-year-old Stacie Halas, was dismissed in April from her job at Haydock Intermediate School in Oxnard after online videos of her in X-rated films were discovered by students and teachers.
“We were hoping we could show you could overcome your past,” Halas lawyer Richard Schwab said Tuesday. “I think she’s representative of a lot of people who may have a past that may not involve anything illegal or anything that hurts anybody.”
“Although her pornography career has concluded, the ongoing availability of her pornographic materials on the Internet will continue to impede her from being an effective teacher and respected colleague,” Judge Cabos-Owen said in the 46-page decision issued Friday by the Commission on Professional Competence.
The AP reports: Halas, 32, was continually deceitful about her nine-month career in porn before she went to work at the school, the judges said.
Schwab said Halas “was being honest and forthright, but was embarrassed and humiliated by her past experience in the adult industry.”
Student claims that the teacher was moonlighting as a porn star were initially dismissed after school officials said they couldn’t find any images of her on the Internet — but they were using the school’s computers, which don’t allow access to porn.
Teachers then showed administrators downloads of Halas’ sex videos from their smartphones.

(CBS/KFVS) CHESTERFIELD, Mo. - Teacher Tericka Dye's X-rated past has come back to haunt her - again.
The Missouri high school science teacher and mom of four has resigned from her job after students learned that she was once an adult film actress, going by the name of Rikki Andersin.
Dr. Don Senti, interim superintendent of the Parkway School District in suburban St. Louis, confirmed to CBS affiliate KFVS that Dye asked to be placed on administrative leave for the remainder of the school year.
A statement from the Parkway School District says Dye's request came after a student asked her about her past, referring to the one or more pornographic movies Dye admitted to making while living in California in the mid-1990s.
The school agreed to accept Dye's request "out of respect for her privacy and that of her family." It also states Dye passed standard background and reference checks prior to being employed in August 2007.
Dye came under fire in 2006 while working as a science teacher and volleyball coach at a high school in Kentucky. Teachers in Paducah stood by her when she was suspended with pay for the 2005-2006 school year and her contract was not renewed because the superintendent feared her presence would cause a distraction in the classroom.
Before leaving the high school, Dye said her decision more than a decade prior was the worst choice she'd ever made.
"I'm a girl from the wrong side of the tracks who's made a lot of bad decisions in life," Dye said in May of 2006. "Anybody who's been in my classroom could tell you how much I love teaching and how much I love these students, and that should be what matters more than anything in my past."
Dye's attorney announced in early 2007 that Dye had withdrawn an appeal of a ruling on a lawsuit she filed against the McCracken County School System and was leaving Kentucky. Her attorney declined to comment where she was headed.
What she did was not illegal, so it didn't show up on a background check.
Myers will be paid through the end of the school year, but not be returning in the fall.

A Southern California middle school teacher who was fired after administrators learned about her porn star past has lost her appeal to retain her job.
A three-female administrative law panel ruled unanimously that Stacie Halas, 32, is unfit to teach science at Richard B. Haydock Intermediate School in Oxnard, CA, the Ventura County Star reports .
Officials with the Oxnard School District removed Halas from the classroom in March 2012, three days after intrepid students managed to identify her in hardcore pornography videos, according to The Smoking Gun.
In April, the local school board voted in unison to sack Halas, not least because of the disruption the discovery about her past had caused among students.
In a hearing prior to the administrative court decision, an emotional Halas told the panel that she had participated in the adult film industry from December 2005 to August 2006, notes the County Star. It was an unhappy time, she said, because her husband-to-be had left her. She was also deeply in debt.
However, Judge Julie Cabos-Owen and the other members of the panel were not moved. In a 46-page explanation, Cabos-Owen repeatedly cited Halas’s lack of honesty when school officials conducted their initial investigation.
“The circumstances of this case most certainly demonstrate that one’s decisions and conduct, particularly continual deceit, must bring with them certain consequences,” Cabos-Owen said.
“Given the viral and infinite nature of the Internet, an imminent end to (Halas’s) notoriety does not appear likely,” she added.
Richard Schwab, an attorney for Halas, disagreed that his client had lied and called the decision a disappointment.
“I believe this matter sadly indicates that when people have a past which is not criminal or hurts other individuals, they may not be able to be remediated or redemptive because of their past experience,” Schwab told the County Star.
The next step in the judicial process for Halas, if she opts for it, is another appeal, this time in Ventura County Superior Court.
During her foray into x-rated movie production, Halas worked in numerous videos, performing an impressive selection of sexual acts under the name “Tiffany Six.”
In one 2006 film, Halas can be seen intertwined with up to four men simultaneously, reports The Smoking Gun. Other actors and actresses appearing in the film include Mia Bangg, Dick Nasty and Arnold Schwarzenpecker.
Another part of the same film reportedly shows Halas answering an interviewer’s questions. At the time, she admitted that her appearances in x-rated films could jeopardize her career.
“It is risky, very risky for me,” she said, according to The Smoking Gun. “‘Cause I am a teacher.”
The unnamed interviewer then asked her why she had chosen to moonlight in the adult film industry.
“Money, and it’s fun,” Halas said then. “It’s exciting.”

School’s out forever for one Los Angeles preschool teacher who refused to give up her side job as a porn actress.
According to station Fox 11 Los Angeles , Nina Skye, a 21-year-old porn actress who taught at an undisclosed Christian preschool, was fired after administrators learned of her career in the porn industry.

Last month, Skye had gone public with Fox 11 to tell her story of her two lives as a teacher and a porn star. Unable to make ends meet as a teacher alone, Skye said that working in porn allowed her to make sex a hobby and make some fast cash, earning $2,500 in her first sex scene.
“I love teaching. I love sex. If I can get away with doing both, then I will,” Skye said in her first interview at the station. “I know what I’m doing when it comes to teaching. I’m a really good teacher.”
However, less than a month later, Skye was fired from the school after administrators gave her the ultimatum to leave the industry or say goodbye to the school.

According to Skye, the morality clause she signed as an incoming teacher forbade her from having premarital sex. Skye said administrators even offered to help with her housing and give her a pay raise.
“They were really trying to pull me away from staying in the industry, they just really wanted me out. They offered help and advice, but I don’t really want out of the industry,” Skye said.
Several of Skye’s fans responded to her disappointing career news with words of praise and encouragement. However, critics saw fit that she be fired from a job in which she works with kids for starring in pornography.
