Porn becomes less seedy, but not quite mainstream
There are a few constants in Las Vegas every January.
The tech world will descend upon the town right after New Year's for the International Consumer Electronics Show, or CES . And not too long afterward, the adult entertainment industry will follow.
While CES (and this week's SHOT Show ) are closed to the general public, the Adult Entertainment Expo welcomes its fans—and this year, they're more welcome than ever — as the show has extended its public hours and expects to hit record high attendance levels.
The show floor is a cavalcade of barely-there lingerie, flirtation, sexual capitalism and whips (as 50 Shades mania continues).
In addition to porn stars meeting their fans — and jumping off their chairs to hug and pose for pictures with many of them — there's a lot of business being conducted at the show. Toy companies are showing off their new lines to retailers and business negotiations between companies take place in private suites.
While the industry's most ardent fans make a pilgrimage here each year, not everyone is able to make the trip. For those people, here's a taste of a day at the porn show.

In an industry where things change so rapidly, there's something refreshing about old porn stereotypes. Porn studio Brazzers has set up a makeshift "classroom" on the show floor, with some models (like Keisha Grey, pictured here) dressed up in Catholic schoolgirl outfits — and others, dressed as strict, cleavage-baring teachers.
The ongoing interest in the bondage subculture means this show area, dedicated to some of the more intense parts of the fetish, continues to grow. There are plenty of whips and rope (and some other devices that we really can't go into), but there are also some elaborate custom items, like this outfit from The Black Room. Already sold (for $3,500), it took just under a month to create and was made entirely of chrome and steel.
Joanna Angel is more than a star in the industry, she's also the head of Burning Angel, the company that helped bring the punk look into porn (paving the way for performers like Bonnie Rotten).
Burning Angel hasn't been entirely spared the piracy that is hurting some of its competitors, but it boasts a loyal following.
Penthouse is moving into a new form of adult entertainment — booze.
The company has licensed its name on a line of sparkling wines (sold for $30 a bottle) and whites and reds (for $17-$22 each). It has also launched a line of flavored vodkas that it says will boost the libido of those who consume it, as well as a plain vodka, Canadian whisky and a Whiskey/Tequila blend, which actually works quite well. (All of the licensed spirits cost $30 a bottle.)
With virtual reality on the horizon, it was just a matter of time before porn jumped on board. Red Light District is a VR strip club and…well, orgy. The graphics are good, but not up to par with today's top video games. But that hasn't stopped people from lining up to try the experience out.
AEE is a chance for fans to meet their favorite stars, like Skin Diamond, pictured. The lines grow longer each day. By Saturday, people will wait for 30 minutes or more just for a few minutes — tops — with the most popular actresses, but that never seems to deter them.
The adult industry isn't limited to your home. Several adult vacation spots are promoting themselves at the show — including Jamaica's famed Hedonism 2 (which recently underwent a substantial refurbishment). Lines at these sorts of booths generally aren't long, but seemingly everyone at the show has at least slowed down to take a look when they walk by.
The Adult Novelty Expo runs concurrent with AEE, showing off some of the year's upcoming sex toys. Among the items on display this year is Teddy Love, a bear that's definitely not for kids. Designed as a pleasure product for women, this cuddly little guy's nose vibrates at 10 different speeds.
One of the fastest growing areas in adult entertainment is CamGirls, performers who strip (and more) online for tips. Fans rarely get a chance to meet them, since so many work from home (and don't feature dance at strip clubs around the country as many porn stars do) — but at AEE, fans may be able to finally see them in person.
In a convention area full of sex experts, it makes sense to tap into that knowledge. This year's AEE features a number of seminars led by Jessica Drake, whose "Guide to Wicked Sex" series has been a hot seller for years.

As I've mentioned before, sex on TV isn't anything new. And sex isn't the problem, it's the amount of it. I love it as much as the next person, but that doesn't mean I want to be bombarded with it. Sometimes I do just want to watch something for the plot, and not see who gets laid next. I'm not saying we should get rid of sex on TV, but damn, does it gets old after a while. Honestly, just turn on HBO during prime-time and you'll see more boobs than all the amateur Mardi Gras videos that pop up every year. It gets to the point where it just isn't "sexy" to show all this sex; it's just there to fulfill some sort of bizarre, penis-shaped quota. And so once again , we're going to look at the shows which use "plot" like a thin layer of latex to cover up all of the nastiness. 7. The Tudors (2007-2010) I wasn't able to watch this on Showtime when it first aired, but thankfully the series has since been put on Netflix. Now having seen it, I can honestly say it wasn't quite what I was expecting. Oh sure, I knew it was definitely going to have some stuff since it's known that Henry VIII couldn't keep it in his pants (I'm being very nice when I say it that way). I'm surprised he only had 6 offical kids, although I think he's got a string of bastard children so large it's something like that Every Sperm Is Sacred skit in Monty Python. Based on events of the show, I believe we saw the conception of all of them. I figured there would be more to it than the king's sexual conquests, but I was wrong. Really wrong. Yes, there is a hint of a plot sometimes, but most of it is this guy making rabbits seem modest. He managed to get booty in almost every episode. I know this wasn't meant to be anywhere near historically accurate, but could you imagine if he really did get laid that often? It really is good to be the king.

There seems to be a reoccurring trend in most TV shows today: Turn your audience on as much as possible so they come back for more. Entertainment today is aimed directly at our naughty bits, and we wouldn't have it another way.
However, there are some cases when you might watch a show just for the story, and then there's a penis that seems to come out of nowhere. Or everything is so suggestive that you feel like you should bathe in holy water just to feel semi clean again.
We're going to look at the top offenders, starting with:
I remember coming across this on On Demand one day. Not one to miss a potential new favorite, I gave it a shot. All I remember is an opening credit, and the next thing I knew I saw a couple going at it like monkeys. I don't care if a show has sex scenes. Hell, I'm married. Sex is nothing new to me. What I absolutely don't like is when a show tries to beat into your brain that whatever given group of people are quite sexually active. What's the point?
From what I can gather, it's an excuse for creator/actress Lena Dunham to get naked. I'm all for empowering women, but even I have my limits. Every episode is the characters trying to navigate through being single, or something. Take away what little wit and actual funny moments that were in Sex and the City, and you have Girls.

If you didn’t know, there are movies on Netflix that are really sexually graphic (with a TV-MA or R-rating, of course). All we’ve done is to bring them together in one place. Not only are these the most sensual, erotic, and sultriest movies on Netflix, they also showcase really interesting stories. Because Netflix has only so many movies with sexual themes, we’ve brought to you the best, which are a must-watch. So, if you had the question – which are the most sexually graphic movies on Netflix, you might get your answer here.

Directed by Barbara Białowąs and Tomasz Mandes, ‘365 Days’ is a polish erotic drama that has made headlines due to its softcore sex scenes. Based on a novel trilogy by Blanka Lipinska, ‘365 Days’ follows the story of Laura, who is kidnapped by Massimo Torricelli, a leader of a Sicilian mafia family. Massimo tells Laura that he had spotted her on a beach five years ago, and apparently couldn’t forget her. Laura is to be kept in confinement for 365 days until she falls in love with Massimo. This weird premise sets the course for their relationship, which slowly blossoms through denials and seduction. The sex scenes between Massimo and Laura are steamy, to say the least, as it is aesthetically shot to entice the viewers in a softcore delight. Perhaps one of the raunchiest films on Netflix, ‘365 Days’ is the polish counterpart of ‘Fifty Shades of Grey’(2015), albeit with an unnerving plot twist in the end that leaves you wanting for more.
Alexandre Aja’s oeuvre has defined the subtle mix of erotic elements with horror. Deftly combining the tropes of fantasy and horror in a titillating narrative, Aja has carved a niche for himself in this particular genre. No less different, ‘Horns’ is a supernatural thriller with the backbone set in mystery and sultry romance. Starring Daniel Radcliffe as the titular character, it tells the story of Ignatius ‘Ig’ Perrish, a man falsely accused of raping and murdering the woman he loves. To salvage the truth, Ig uses his newfound paranormal abilities at his disposal and uncovers the chain of events leading to the horrific murder. Ig grows a pair of horns that allows him to coax the truth out of people. A suspenseful murder mystery, ‘Horns’ features some dramatic sex scenes depicting the tender romance between its lead characters. To film the sexual interactions, the temperatures in the set were apparently kept low to perk up the romantic encounters.
Martin and Gabriella meet each other over a dating app. Instead of hooking up, while they get to know each other, Gabriella comes to know that Martin was married earlier, whereas Martin learns that Gabriella has had physically intimate relationships before. They both agree to form an open relationship, but eventually, Gabriella comes to know about Martin’s ailing mother and daughter and feels cheated. Alas, both separate and start new relationships while still in contact with each other and meeting over for threesomes, etc. (yes, you heard that right). After a string of relationships, they eventually reconcile and promise not to separate again. As simplistic as the storyline sounds, there is a certain amount of sensuality and passion in ‘Newness,’ which makes it stand out. Watch it here .
Sundance has always been the home for fresh, new talent in the world of cinema, and when Elizabeth Wood debuted her film ‘White Girl’ at the festival in 2016, she definitely did not disappoint. Made on a shoe-string budget of $700,000, the film tells the story of a young girl called Leah, who gets involved in a sexually charged relationship with a Latino man called Blue.
A cocaine peddler by profession, Blue usually sells his drugs on the road and earns a lot less than what upper-class people are willing to pay for the same substance. This makes Leah introduce him to some of her colleagues to whom he sells his drugs and ends up earning quite a hefty amount. However, Blue is soon arrested by an undercover policeman, and Leah falls into deep trouble with the one kilogram of cocaine which Blue was initially carrying on him. The film then depicts the lengths that Leah goes to in order to free Blue from the confines of the prison.
‘White Girl’ does not only boast of steamy sex scenes but also provides us with the horrific picture on the other side of the coin. There is a scene of sexual torture that can be quite troublesome for some viewers. Ke
