Photographer Liza Van Der Stock’s intimate project about a porn-producing family in Flanders was shortlisted for the 2015 Sony World Photography Awards.
In a Flemish village outside of Turnhout, Belgium, Laura and Maurice live together with their daughter Eva. They have all the trappings of a normal family, but when 9-year-old Eva is at school, Maurice and Laura start their day jobs as porn producers.
I photographed the family for two years for my project called Paradi$e Lu$t. They’ve given me unfettered access to both their personal and professional lives. The duo, more than anything, are small business owners: together they started a production company called “Stout!” around a decade ago. It’s still a modest operation: they produce the movies and both work the camera. And, from time to time, they are the porn stars as well.
Like Maurice and Laura, their other actors are ordinary people. They’re fathers and neighbors. Salesmen and postmen. The sex and the bodies are very real, not fake, not glamorous.
Maurice and Laura used to live above an erotic club they owned and filmed in, but they moved out to the quieter village once Eva got a little older. The most interesting thing about the village life was the process of gaining their new community’s acceptance. When Eva was new in her school there were some children who couldn’t play with her because their parents didn’t allow it. Laura really wanted everybody to accept them, so she threw a very big party for Eva’s birthday. She cleaned the house for two days and made it totally sex-free. She invited everybody from the school, also the parents. People came to realize that they are just normal people and since then she organizes the party each year.
Maurice and Laura are always very honest with Eva. They don’t want to lie to her. But of course they informed her about their job in words she can understand. She knows that they had a bar where naked people came to have a drink and to dance. Eva has a really good relationship with her parents and their job has never been an obstacle. And in my time with them, I saw a warm family with a very normal life that really separated their work life from their personal life. A moment I remember very well was when Eva received her first communion in church. Laura was very involved in the ceremony and afterwards there was a party in their new café. Friends and family came along and it was a very good day. In the porn Laura and Maurice make, actors are captured on tape as they are. My project aims to portray the family with that same humanity.

Family game night has long been a fun activity any night of the week. But now that games have evolved beyond rolling dice and hopping along squares, there are oodles of multiplayer family games online that are great options for the whole family.

Play the popular board game online with your family and even extended friends and grandparents. Even little ones can begin to understand turn-taking and money management in this game, but it's best suited for elementary school kids. Online Monopoly is available to play for free online, or you can choose to pay for the app, which costs a few dollars.

This game is so fun. It tells the story of an inventor named Billie and her crime-fighting avocado brought to life. Avo is no ordinary fruit, however, as you'll discover as you collect clues, solve crimes, and go on epic adventures together. Kids can also add Avo to pictures they take, and trust us: the snaps they take will spark conversations long after the game is finished.

Throw a private Super Mega Mini Party and invite your family to play this series of ten silly, light-hearted games. You'll have the chance to see outer space, play around a campfire, and hang with some cute little penguins! Note: You'll need an Apple Arcade subscription to play these games.

Download this classic game for free from the app store or play store and challenge your kids to a race with Mario and the gang. In-game friends can be added to your account, or you can play against strangers. Just watch out for in-app optional purchases, and make sure that parental controls are in place to prevent unauthorized charges.

Play the classic murder mystery game Clue, or Cluedo as it's known in other countries, by creating private rooms for just your family to explore. Download the game for around $10, and find the killer before they strike again!

This game is based on the old party favorite where players hold up a piece of paper on their forehead and try to guess what is written on it by asking questions. With the online version, you can nix the pen and paper and use your phone to display a category and object for the other players to give you clues. Different categories include Celebrities, Movies, and Animals.

Are your older kids obsessed with Minecraft? Get them interested in playing a group game by downloading Terraria, which lets the whole family create their own kingdoms and then navigate around them.

Although most people associate this game with getting outside, it's actually possible to play Pokemon Go at home. Kids will love trying to find their favorite characters, whether you do it indoors or in the backyard. Each player should add themselves to your friend list so that you can interact as you play.

This drawing game is great fun and a bit like an online version of Pictionary. Create a private room so that your family can play together without distractions, then you'll be given prompts to draw. The random word generator is fun, but if you have younger children, you'll want to control the content by creating your own customizable word list.

A mother has hit out at the makers of a game that is popular with children after a ‘friend’ invited her into a sex room.
The woman, who only gave her name as Peggy, said she was watching her daughter play the game Roblox when the incident occurred.
She immediately took the game away from the girl then explored what was happening so that she could warn other parents.
She told Kidspot: ‘Luckily I was sitting next to her and noticed out of the corner of my eyes that one of the characters had breasts so it made me look closer.’
She added: ‘[My daughter] had absolutely no idea what she was looking at, but I would hate to think about what would have been said to her.’
Roblox is a multi-player online game and is user-generated.
Gamers are not only able to join games which have all been created by users but also create their own adventures.
It has virtual currency, known as Robux, which can be used on the site to buy things such as cool accessories, gear, shirts or limited items.
A spokesman for the company said: ‘We were outraged to learn that Roblox’s community policies and review process were subverted to publish inappropriate content. Roblox games, which can be built from millions of building blocks, can be vast.
‘While we can’t review everything that has been built within the game, our moderation team reviews all content uploaded into each game – such as photos, videos, and sound files – before it is published.
‘We also have processes in place to ensure we can react quickly to any inappropriate content that is reported to us.
‘In this case, the offending game was taken down immediately after we became aware of it, and the developer that built that game has been permanently banned from the platform.
‘We have zero tolerance for this behaviour. Safety is always our top priority and we are continually working to evolve our policies and processes to ensure they are as robust as possible.’
Once you have created an account and chosen a username then you are ready to play.
You can customise your avatar’s clothing and expression and if you are part of the Builders Club you can even make your own shirt or trousers and charge Robux for others to buy them.
Players have their own world which they can customise and access to their own gear which includes weaponry, musical instruments, power-ups and transport.
Players earn badges and can sell items they’ve created for Robux or gift virtual money to users and developers.
Top games on the site include Jailbreak, Work at a Pizza Place, Welcome to the town of Robloxia, Phantom Forces and Murder Mystery.
You can trade your limited items with other players.
The Roblox app has been given a 12+ rating because it could contain:
* infrequent/mild cartoon or fantasy violence
* infrequent/mild realistic violence
It is a creative game which allows them to make their own challenges but take part in other people’s too.
The characters look a little like a cross between Lego figures and Steve from Minecraft which they are able to adapt to their own tastes.
They can interact with each other and team up on games or go solo.
The catalogue of clothing, accessories and skills means you will continually be bugged to buy Robux for them to purchase their coveted items.
Yes they can but there are privacy settings and age appropriate chat modes.
All conversations, whether public or private, are filtered and people can restrict or disable chat within the account settings.
Roblox filter the chats and posts of children aged 12 and under for inappropriate content and stops them from sending personal information.
Under-13s can either select ‘Friends’ or ‘No one’ while older players also have additional options for who can contact them.
All players can limit or block other accounts from communicating with them.
It is always a good idea to get to know what games and apps your children is playing and how they work.
You can use a ‘Parent PIN’ to block your child from making changes to the account without the use of a four digit code.
Parents are also able to see the history of the account including what games etc their child has created, private message history, friends and followers as well as trading and purchasing history.
Accounts can also use two-step verification and players can block users and report abuse.
Roblox is on the board of the Family Online Safety Institute (FOSI) and complies with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA).
Extra features were introduced in March this year to enhance child safety.
* Parental controls that will enable parents to shut-off chat capability.
* Age visibility so that parents can easily determine that the settings for their kids are age appropriate.
* More stringent chat controls for under 13s restricting a greater range of words.
* Expansion of our moderation team for more aggressive deletion of games and content with behavior we will not tolerate.
* Further enhancement of our guidelines for our developer community in terms of content and experiences that are not allowed in their games.
Last month, it also added a feature to make sure players’ avatars are wearing appropriate attire.
