I just bought this for my brother's girlfriend who just had their baby yesterday! Before giving it as a Christmas gift I read though it, and this is HILARIOUS! It's such a perfect gift if you're looking for something small, but still with personality--something to make her laugh after all the pain of childbirth that she just endured. Just a heads up that there is no actual porn in here, if you're having any hesitations. Guys in the photos are kind of dorky but who's complaining?
I first saw this in the waiting room of my midwife's office when I was pregnant and got a good laugh out of it. Now I give it to every expecting couple as a joke gift for dad to 'study'. No actual 'porn,' just funny campy photos of hunky shirtless guys doing household chores, changing diapers, etc. and saying things a new mom would love to hear..."sure, I'll watch the baby while you go to the spa" and "that 19 year old Swedish blonde is nice but I'd prefer an older nanny with more experience." My husband still jokingly asks "is this porn for new moms?" every time he does a chore or favor that I would usually do. Great gift and definitely an icebreaker at a baby shower! I've personally seen the most staid in-laws guffawing over this book as it's passed around.
I thought this book was funny and as harmless as can be. I gave it as a gift to a pregnant friend but her husband wasn't amused. It might say more about him than about the book but still. Maybe not so great for sensitive folks.
It was THE hit at the baby shower!! For reasons I don't understand (maybe because I'm a guy), women really get a kick out of this one. I also purchased Porn for New Brides and found the same reaction. Maybe it's because these books show us men as women would really like us to be, rather than the animals that we usually are: to wit, "Let's not have sex tonight, sweetie, and I'll just give you a foot rub." Really!! Great fun.
Got this for my sister-in-law with a new baby. Haven't given it to her yet, but *I* think its adorable. And I know she will like it too because it's chock full of hot men saying all the things new mommies want to hear like "I know, why don't you take a nice hot bubble bath while I change the diapers and paint the house?" Really cute. It's smaller in size than I expected, but whatever.
This book is hilarious. While it seems so short and is written in "blurbs," you will enjoy reading it again and again. I love the romance-approach for women. My friend was definitely shocked to get it from a "quiet" church-going girl at her baby shower. I had to get a copy for myself. You might consider giving it to fathers, too, to give them ideas of nice ways to treat the new (or experienced) mommies in their households.
bought this for a coworker for her birthday and her cheeks were hurting from laughing so hard. Definitely a great gift for new moms
This book looked fun when I saw it orginally in the bookstore and I needed to send a care package to my Sister-in-law, who is expecting with her second child. I got a nice "thank you card" that she had received the care package and since that rarely happens when my husband and I send any type of gift it must have been well received. Nice novelty and probably a good laugh or two for some.

Porn For New Mums
I LOVE this book, had me in stitches. I found I could relate to a lot of the quotes and pictures, I love that it has a quote about baby carrying, biodegradable things and men letting women sleep! Even my boyfriend found the book quite funny. Totally worth the price to cheer yourself up whilst you're completely knackered in the middle of the night!

Brilliant book
My husband got this for me after we had our first and it was brilliantly funny and I loved it so much I got this for my friend who is a first time mum (the look on people's faces when they first see it is classic and once they start reading it's even better) brilliant book and even better to give as a gift (and make sure your around when they open it)

I got this for my friends baby shower. It made me laugh and my friends too. Only thing is it is American (which stupidly I didnt twig on with the title 'moms'). Would be good in a UK version.
Funny idea, bought for my wife after having our twins. Stretches the concept of porn, lol
