Honestly in my opinion , whenever I see posts like these I feel like it's just a cover up for the negative behaviour.
Would it make sense for an alcoholic (who's wired his brain to heavy drinking) to swish alcohol in his mouth, spit it out and claim that he doesn't like it? Because that's impossible .
I've already trained my mind to break my PMO habit. But I'm still a straight male. A nude woman is still going to arouse me. That being said, I don't think "Porn bores me now" is a good excuse for watching it. Testing is never a good idea. A lot of them don't understand that performing actions associated with the addiction strengthens old "porn pathways".
This isn't a post to call out people or talk shit, but honestly if you're dedicating to NoFap, get rid of that "Sure I can still look because I know I don't like it" mentality.

Yea I once told myself and people on here about how I hated porn and that it was disgusting, when in reality I actually did like it and I was just lying to myself so that maybe I could get a longer streak, then I relapsed after seven days
Denial/repression never works for anything in life. The hardest part is often just admitting and accepting the truth of any situation.

I told myself so many excuses that led to relapse. 35 Days ago I told myself that I'm done. I identified all triggers, I made a plan and I'm sticking to it. Now I'm on the path to success :)

That's because of how your dopamine receptors have been desensitised. You've gotten so used to it. If you're recovered your brain should get even more aroused by it. Hope that makes sense.
Last time I watched porn was 139 days ago. No regrets. I felt unworthy infront of others. Now I feel EQUAL to others.

Yes, it happened to me. "Porn just makes no sense", "porn is boring", only to binge for days.
I'm getting back into this space now. I find it a chore and boring honestly. I looked at it when I feel stressed, and being unemployed right now compounds that feeling, so it was my escape. I'm working on being one with the stress and embracing it with lots of prayer. It's a process.
This 'boring' stuff actually exists. Last year, I quit computer games.During my addiction I was really into MMORPGs, Hearthstone, and CS:GO. When I got bored of CS, i played HS and so on. Then I saw Game Quitters on YT, watched a few videos, started the 90 day rewiring thingy. 1st relapse: 44 days for 4 days straight games, didn't see the sun. 2nd relapse: 62 days. Only 1 day, played some Hearthstone with friends. 3rd relapse: 87 days. 3 days straight gaming, didn't see the sun. After that, I reached 90 days, and I don't count it since. When I download any game to my phone, I get bored after 5 minutes. I downloaded CS a few days ago, got bored after 15 minutes. I could had spent days perfecting my aim in the game, and now, it was like, cmon, this is boring. I got rewired. Still struggling with PMO though, but as I could quit games to improve my career and social life, this should be no different. And I don't feel games could ever get me back. Maybe it causes lower dopamine increase than porn, or am I just immune to it?
I have the same issue. I decided to quit gaming for a while, I got to 120 days before I let myself back in. It was pretty much cake for me. PMO is a different story.

Absolutely disagree. It exists. Who is the dominant factor - www.pornwebsite.com or some local directory or you? The key is though not to ever think that you are too dominant that you can 'allow' it to overcome you, because that's what originally led you to some kind of commitment - I don't like calling it an addiction.
It is a commitment, just like hetero/homo/bi/a/trans sexualism is a commitment. You got other stuff: voayeurism, pedophillia, beastiality; not radically different, except porn is ritual-oriented and others are not. There are plenty of people who are weekly if not daily watchers of porn, but they're not addicted in the sense that they can't stop - they don't want to stop, they don't suffer from it like some of us do... or they don't recognize it.
PMO has completely murdered my libido over the years - it made me less interested in socializing, in achieving long-term goals or even short-term goals and caused me some dick problems. It exists, it is the accused and I'm the judge - it's just a question whether I'm gonna peek through my fingers and say it's okay.

Not everyone suffers but everyone's lives would be improved if they quit PMO.
I don't pretend it doesn't exist since I said I broke the habit. Subconsciously I know it's bad, that's the only form of existence it has for me. Not for consumption. By saying it doesn't exist, I'm making an expression to say that it shouldn't even be a thought during someone's day. But I see your perspective. As long as it works, that's good enough.
I get where you're coming from, but there's a difference between "I just looked at a video on pornhub, but I swear I didn't like it" and "I just saw an overly sexual ad for Carls Jr. and it honestly didn't do much for me" I've definitely experienced the latter, likely because of flatlining
