For porn stars, all roads eventually lead to the legal brothels of Nevada, or at least they should.

EJ Dickson, in a recent article about porn star escorts for Salon.com, confirms that adult video entertainers offering prostitution services are on the rise. Diamond wrote in a blog post, “I became furious when I heard of a girl having sex with a stranger to pay her rent, and then showing up on set the next day ‘tested and ready’.”
“Every girl who does a porn scene has to be tested at least 28 days prior to the scene. If they have illegal sex for money outside of their legal scenes, they are putting everyone in jeopardy.”
STD’s are indisputably a real danger for adult stars who engage in unsafe sexual activity. In 2013, the porn industry shut down three times after five performers reportedly tested positive for HIV.
Despite the many entertainers who work as illegal prostitutes to earn extra cash, there are some who have opted for the legal alternative, Nevada’s bordellos being the only legal option in the United States.
The threat of disease, assault, and simply getting arrested are good reasons to avoid illegal prostitution, but for the increasing number of porn actresses touring the legal brothels of Nevada, the justification for “going legal” might have more to do with marketing.
Adult actresses who have discovered Nevada bordellos, like Sunny Lane (Moonlite Bunny Ranch), Simone (Chicken Ranch), and Jayla Diamond (Sheri’s Ranch), are able to extend their personal brand through the promotion of the ultimate service offering: the opportunity for their fans to actually have sex with them.

This opportunity for conspicuous promotion makes legal prostitution the final, and often most lucrative, stage in the progression of a branded adult entertainer.
As porn stars continue to consider Nevada brothels as a brand enhancing alternative to illegal prostitution, the synergy of adult video performers and legal prostitution just might reinvigorate the adult industry in a groundbreaking way, establishing a new standard for sexual entertainment.

I started watching porn on TV when I became a teenager. But, through the years, I became a little bored from watching different porn actors doing similar sex acts with each other.
Just finding out about legal brothels such as Sheri’s Ranch increases my interest in porn again.
