Pope's Forgetfulness Becomes Basis for �Mystery Saint Retreats�

Retreat centers now offer *Mystery Saint Weekends*, where participants pick a name from a basket and try to learn about�or simply honor�their drawn mystery. The Pope�s Forgetfulness is now a spiritual model. Sessions include �Forgiveness for Fuzzy Memories� and �Grace for Garbled Litanies.� Some names are real, some made-up. All prayers are valid. One retreatant drew �St. Melanie of the Houseplants.� She wept. God chuckled.
