5 Zodiac Signs Most Likely To Be In A Polyamorous Relationship
By Christine Schoenwald — Written on Oct 13, 2019
If we think of astrology as a guide to our romantic lives, there are some zodiac signs who do quite well in polyamorous relationships. Not everyone in a certain zodiac sign is into polyamory, but a larger number of them will be when compared to others.
A polyamorous relationship isn’t only about having sex with people other than your partner (though that is a component); it’s about having the same kind of ties you have in any relationship. Polyamory is great if you’re open-minded, seek variety, have a lot of love to give, and enjoy working as a team.
While monogamy has been prevalent for eons, more people are opening up their relationships. If you’re stuck in a monogamous relationship and are miserable, there’s a good chance it will lead to cheating, heartbreak, and dishonesty. For some people, however, having a polyamorous relationship strengthens their bond, and makes them more satisfied and less frustrated.
If you’re in a committed relationship, both you and your partner have to agree on whether you want to open the relationship up, as well as the rules, guidelines, and an exit plan.
Aquarians have a gift for being able to handle multiple partners without anyone feeling neglected. They like all different kinds of people and a polyamorous relationship lets them experience a wide variety of them.
The thing that sets Aquarius apart is that they're not attracted to people just because of their physical beauty; for them, the intellect is the biggest turn-on. An Aquarius may find their soulmate in one person, but that doesn't mean they can be satisfied with just one person.
Capricorns have a reputation for being steady, hardworking, and following all the rules. The truth is that this zodiac sign is extremely sexual and just one person often isn't enough for them to explore all the different sides of their sexuality.
Capricorns are suited for polyamory because of their energy, independence, and sexual appetites. Remember: they can go and go, and truthfully, it's hard for one person to keep up with them.
Taurus is known for being extremely sensual, so it makes sense they could thrive in a polyamorous relationship. More hands to touch them, more bodies to kiss and enjoy? Sign Taurus up.
An added benefit of polyamory is that they can be possessive and jealous, and polyamory can help them with that. If they have more than one partner, they won't feel as desperate to hang on so tightly, and there's always someone to satisfy their urges.
Tight sexual boundaries aren't Gemini's thing and they have a tendency to rebel against it. They can feel stifled in a monogamous relationship and have a propensity to get bored with just one partner.
Polyamorous relationships have more variety of everything — not just sex, but emotional support, the sharing of ideas, and fascinating conversation. Gemini may feel energized by multiple partners and embrace a relationship with new rules.
Aries tend to have fluid sexuality and can be attracted to any gender. They are about adventure and trying new things, and a polyamorous relationship could provide that kind of stimulation.
These individuals take the lead when it comes to sex because they're known to be insatiable. Aries don't want to wait for sex. Multiple partners can help them avoid sexual frustration and not feel like they're going to crawl out of their skin if they don't get it.
