Entry Test

While you search for degree programs at the Polytechnic University of Turin, you can see that there are two types of access to the programs:

  • Open admission

If you apply for a program without an admission cap, you can enroll directly, and then, if necessary, satisfy any Additional Learning Requirements established by your pre-evaluation.

  • Limited admission - entrance exam

If you apply for a program with limited enrolment, you must be ranked through a pre-enrolment selection process. Depending on citizenship and country of residence, this involves taking a written or oral entry test* whose results place you on a ranked list of applicants. Those ranked highest are offered a place. But, mostly this kind of requirement applies to Aerospace Engineering and Architecture Engineering programs due to the high demand observed in the last years.

*Non-EU citizen residing outside the EU - PoliTo test and oral interview via Skype

All detailed information on entry requirements, test dates and contents, admission test registration and deadlines, the ranking criteria, enrollment procedures, and recognition of credits are included in the Calls for Admissions found on the degree programs' webpages.

N.B: There is no application fee .
