Role Description The SAP HCM – Polish Payroll Expert role is a remote, contract position focused on delivering specialized consulting and support for clients using SAP HCM payroll in Poland. Day-to-day responsibilities include configuring and maintaining Polish payroll schemas and rules in SAP HCM, validating payroll results, and troubleshooting payroll-related issues. The expert will analyze client business processes, recommend improvements, and support integration between SAP HCM and other SAP modules, ensuring compliance with Polish payroll regulations and company policies. The role involves collaborating with client stakeholders to gather requirements, documenting functional specifications, conducting testing (unit, integration, and user acceptance), and providing knowledge transfer and training. The consultant will also participate in ongoing process stabilization, incident resolution, and enhancement projects to optimize payroll accuracy and efficiency.
Qualifications
* Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex payroll data and identify process improvements.
* Hands-on experience with SAP HCM Polish Payroll and exposure to SAP FICO for end-to-end payroll and finance alignment.
* Proven ability to understand and optimize HR and payroll business processes, including compliance with Polish labor and tax regulations.
* Familiarity with SAP Basis concepts and system environments, supporting stable and secure payroll operations.
* Experience in system and process integration, including interfaces between SAP HCM and other SAP or third-party solutions.
* Knowledge of Polish payroll legislation, social security, and tax rules, and how they are represented in SAP configuration.
* Strong communication and documentation skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in remote, multicultural teams.
* Prior experience as a SAP HCM Payroll consultant or in an equivalent role; consulting background with global clients is an advantage.
* Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Business, HR, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
* Professional certifications in SAP HCM or related SAP modules are preferred.
