In this article the authors will present sources from the Russian Empire, edited in the years , accessible to this stage, from the perspective of addressing the origin and the ethnicity membership of the majority of population in Bessarabia in order to identify both the opinion of the Czarist authorities and the authors of the studies-representatives of the Russian society, as well as the subjects of the research of these studies from which the data were actually collected.. The analyzed sources were classified in: a Historical-ethnographic research. The actuality of the problem proposed in this study is determined by the perpetuation of both the identity of the nation of titles in the historiography of the Republic of Moldova and of the whole society, as well as a series of myths established in the Soviet Union as instruments of national construction and manipulation of public opinion, myths and theses that persist to date. In our work were analyzed and over evaluated the late - date historographycal works and investigations of modern, inter-war, post-war and contemporary periods concerning the topic of the migration Balkan refugees to the territory of Bessarabia in the beginning of 19th century. On the basis of the historiographycal analysis were done the following conclusions: in historiography were pointed out clear stages and tendencies in this research theme. Revising the sources from that period and analyzing other sources, give us the possibility to sum up ideas, which emphasize different historiographycal contradictory treatments, that have the place to be at a contemporary stage in problem of the history of the Bessarabia colonization in the beginning of the 19th century. It were traced out two basic conceptions in elucidation of the investigated problem: at one hand, from the tsarist imperialist point of view as in the case of the historiography before Pre-revolution and Soviet period , and from the Bulgarian and Romanian point view from inter-war and contemporary period. It is worth mentioning that nowadays we have just short historiographycal visions in researching the given problem, especially on Albanian colonization. In the same time, the analyses of the sources and the literature shows that are absent special works on the theme in that period, and are not investigated certain important problems. It is felt the necessity to revise many things, to clarify certain situations and find new sources. Svetlana Ivanova.
