When it comes to romance, fans may think Pokemon is straight-up allergic to fluff. Over the years, the anime has shown Ash Ketchum explore his eternal pre-teen years with Pikachu, but he has rarely dipped into the world of love. This stance has fared poorly with die-hard fans of Team Rocket, but they don't need to fret over Jessie and James.
After all, The Electric Tales of Pikachu tackled the couple sometime ago, and it confirmed they were more than teammates to one another.
For anyone unaware, fans got their first-look at the manga years ago, but its English translation under Viz Media fell under the radar. The story loosely adapted the Pokemon anime, bringing in the overall plot of Indigo League and Adventures in the Orange Islands. Written by Toshinori Ono, the four-volume run saw Ash and Pikachu get into all kinds of trouble, but its last issues saw Jessie and James make their relationship official.
By the end of volume four, James revealed his feelings for Jessie aren't as friendly as some thought. The manga, which was officially licensed, saw James confess his love for Jessie while poor Meowth was set off to the side. Then, by the manga's end, fans got a new look at the dastardly duo after they got hitched.
As you can see above, the manga saw Jessie sitting down while James posed behind his new wife... and that's not all. Fans don't have to look hard to see that Jesse is clearly pregnant here, and Meowth can be seen in the back regretting all of his life choices. As for what happens to the kid, well - fans will never know. The manga ended at four volumes, so The Electric Tales of Pikachu never explained how Team Rocket Jr. fared, but fans like to think the kid became real good friends with Meowth.
Even today, the most die-hard fans may not realize that Pokemon has been this forward with Jesse and James. Pokemon 's lengthy manga history can be hard to follow for newcomers, and its previous stories are easy to look over given their obscure localizations. So, if you really want to see James get down on one knee for his Team Rocket partner, you'll need to collect a copy of The Electric Tales of Pikachu ASAP.

When it comes to Pokemon , there are fans and then there are fans. After well over a decade, the franchise has earned lifelong fans who have grown up with the series. Some of these diehard fans have used Pokemon to celebrate their biggest milestones, and it turns out one couple is two-for-two on the topic.
After all, why stop at announcing your engagement with Pokemon when you could use Togepi to announce your pregnancy too?
Recently, a fan hit up Reddit to share their latest life update with Pokemon fans using a bit of pocket monster magic. The fan posted a photo of them with their significant other announcing that announces they're expecting.
"Our engagement photo 5 years ago and our baby announcement photo last week in the same spot. And yes, we'll be back for the third photo next year," Neyubin wrote.
As you can see, the couple five years ago looked ready to go on a grand Pokemon journey together. Both of them have Poke Balls in hand, and their bright outfits would help them fit right into the Johto region. But in this second photo, the couple is a bit older and wiser in their journey. If anything, the couple are running their own Pokemon Gym as leaders, and they're ready to hatch their own family after a fun five-year journey.
Of course, the couple will not be hatching a Togepi. The word is out on whether the happy couple will be having a boy or girl, but it won't be a Pokemon at the very least. As for poor Misty, the Cerulean City trainer never knew what she got into when she first brought her egg on her journey with Ash. By the time Togepi hatched, the trainer and fans alike were desperate to see her latest Pokemon addition, and Togepi did not disappoint. The cute pocket monster remains a favorite even to this day, so this couple absolutely nailed their Pokemon pregnancy announcement thanks to Togepi.

There is already a thread,but it is dead.Basically:Tell us your opinions about pokemon pregnancy,does it exist,how it should be implemented,etc.

Personally,I dont believe that the daycare hands you the baby.I believe that when the pokemon starts acting odd,they'll hand the pokemon to you.after a certain step count,u go to pokemon center to get the child.

If a pregnant pokemon is knocked out there is a miscarriage.Thats my opinion
We`ll probably never truly know how a pokemon bares a child besides the fact that they lay eggs unless the games or anime show otherwise. Still... I`m more curious about humans and Pokemon being geneticly compatible. Just imagine if your mother was a human and your father was a Pokemon...

I think if they did have pregnancy, it would be short. They lay eggs, a lot of the incubation needn't take place inside the mother's womb. As well, live birth does not seem likely, as in some cases (i.e. Waillord x Skitty), it would be impossible to birth the offspring out of the Skitty's (presumed) genitalia. Therefore, your theory is silly.

What is there to discuss? Pokemon lay eggs, end of story.
Last time I checked, Pokemon hatch from eggs.
Just a simple question. I look through the"pregnancy/parenting" section and find a lot of people trying to get advice for their "unique" name.
This thread is stupid. Pokemon breed the same way as real animals, with the exception that they all lay eggs. What's so hard to understand about that?

I have a theory.Pokemon have two ways of breeding-their natural method of breeding,and the egg method.The natural method is what you'd expect-Totodile lays eggs,Persian get pregnant and have a litter,Oddish release spores and Nosepass bang rocks together.

In captivity,the Pokemon are given a special fertility feed.It gets them to lay eggs,and said eggs have an artificially sped up growth cycle that stops when the Pokemon is born.When a female Skitty copulates with a Wailord(she gets drenched,that's all I'm going to say),the egg stays at a comfortable size for the Skitty.Then,when it is laid,the egg expands to Wailmer size
