Role Description This is a part-time, remote Podcaster role focused on creating engaging audio content about solar energy, home audits, and sustainable living. The Podcaster will plan and record episodes, develop show outlines, conduct research on industry trends, and prepare questions for interviews with subject matter experts and customers. Day-to-day tasks include hosting and moderating conversations, writing episode scripts and show notes, collaborating with the team to identify relevant topics, and ensuring that content is educational, accessible, and aligned with Solcertain’s mission. The Podcaster will also coordinate with marketing to promote episodes, repurpose content for social media, and help grow the audience across podcast platforms.
Qualifications
* Candidates should possess strong Communication and Interviewing skills to host episodes, engage guests, and present complex information clearly.
* Candidates should possess solid Writing and Research skills to develop scripts, show notes, and well-informed episodes.
* Candidates should possess Social Media skills to help promote episodes, engage listeners, and expand audience reach.
* Experience with audio recording, basic editing tools, and podcast production workflows is beneficial.
* Comfort discussing renewable energy, technology, or home improvement topics is a plus, along with a genuine interest in solar and sustainability.
* Ability to work independently in a remote environment, manage deadlines, and collaborate effectively with a distributed team.
* Prior podcasting, broadcasting, or content creation experience is preferred but not mandatory.
