The product received was opened (not sealed under the lid) and the shampoo inside was a different scent, color and texture of the exact shampoo I purchased from the salon. I feel totally scammed.
I used this today after finishing my bottle purchased from my hairdresser. I have been using this shampoo for over 2 years. This is not the same shampoo in any way. It was much thicker, not the same color and not the same fragrance. I will buy this from my salon in order to get the correct product. Unfortunately it is too late to return it. Jeff's wife, Helayne
This did not have a safety seal and was not the creamy shampoo that Kevin Murphy makes. Plus it had an odd smell like men’s cologne. I am returning it.

DO NOT BUY THIS This is NOT Kevin Murphy. I cannot BELIEVE I paid so much money for this product and now I can’t return it!! It is a complete fake- watery, weird smell. Don’t waste your money.
I took this product to my salon because it didn't seem like my normal wash I purchased from them. After opening it and using a bit of it on their hands, my stylist confirmed that this product was fake. She then passed it on to her sales rep who replaced the bottle for me. DO NOT PURCHASE.
Found a hole on the corner of the bottle and the bottle is not sealed properly. It makes me feel like that’s not the real product from Kevin Murphy, more like someone get a bottle from recycling bin and put other cheap shampoo in it, then sell it for $49....
Expensive, but the only shampoo I plan on using! Totally worth the cost. This has given my extremely overprocessed hair some of its life back and it has helped a TON with shedding. And I only wash my hair 2x per week. A little bit about my hair: moderately fine, but quite thick; mostly straight with slight waves in random parts; kinda frizzy naturally.
Love this product. My hair is thinning because of an oral chemo that I am taking. As a result, there really is no hair growing product that will work while I am on the medicine. However, I thought I would be wearing wigs after a year or two of taking the medicine and I am still able to style my hair and it looks okay.

Awful and I don’t recommend at all

Ich hatte es bereits bei anderen Rezensionen von Kevin Murphy Produkten geschrieben, dass man diese Haarpflegeprodukte eigentlich blind kaufen kann, da ma immer beste Qualität bekommt. Dies gilt auch für das PLUMPING WASH Shampoo. Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis: Sicherlich sind die Produkte von Kevin Murphy sehr teuer, auch dieses Shampoo. Es gibt aber zwei Argumente, die gemeinsam einen Kauf dennoch rechtfertigen. Zum einen kann das Shampoo extrem sparsam dosiert werden. Zum anderen ist die Qualität ziemlich einzigartig. Daher vergebe ich - auch wenn der Preis wehtut- fünf Sterne für diese Kategorie. Anwendung/Nutzung Das Shampoo ist für feines bzw. für dünner werdendes Haar konzipiert. Auch wenn ich es öffentlich immer leugne, gehöre ich doch (nur ein wenig) zur zweiten Gruppe. Und tatsächlich, bereits nach einigen Wäschen fühlt sich das Haar kräftiger an und wirkt etwas voller. Hinzu kommt, dass es eindeutig an Glanz gewonnen hat. Insgesamt eine Wirkung, die der Produktbeschreibung entspricht. Daher auch hier fünf Sterne. Verträglichkeit: Da ich nur wenige Shampoos Verträge, ist dies ein wichtiger Punkt für mich. Bisher sind überhaupt keine Irritationen feststellbar. Im Gegenteil, das Shampoo arbeitet sehr mild und trocknet weder Haare noch Kopfhaut aus. Man kann das nicht verallgemeinern, aber für mich sind dies fünf Sterne. Tipp: Da ich leicht wellige und sehr trockene Haare habe, wechsele ich gelegentlich mit den Shampoos Luxury Wash und Hydrate Me ab. Dadurch bleiben Kopfhaut und Haare in einer gesunden Balance und glänzen ohne zu fetten. Fazit: Aus meiner Sicht ohne Einschränkungen zu empfehlen. Aufgrund der sparsamen Dosierung hält eine Flasche ewig und gleicht den Preis aus. Ich werde in jedem Falle nachkaufen. Edit (November 2015): ich habe Shampoo und Spülung inzwischen nachgekauft. Auch bei regelmäßiger und täglicher Nutzung habe ich mit beiden keine Probleme und kann sie bedenkenlos empfehlen.

Be careful when ordering this product. I got hosed.
This shampoo did not meet the expectations that I wanted from it. First of all I feel it had been tampered with because it never had the protective plastic to take off. Every body who did like this shampoo raved about how it smelled fantastic. I did not smell of anything. This shampoo made my hair oily and dull. Also how to use this product that was on the side of the bottle the print was so small that I had to use a magnifying device to read it. I think I got dupped by purchasing this shampoo. Even with the amount of $$ it cost I really thought I would have had great hair. I never did.
