My wife and I stayed at this location for 3 nights. I've been to quite a few hotels and resorts but this is one of the few that made be feel like I was at a resort in the Caribbean. I believe it was the hospitable staff that made the stay feel like a real vacation as everyone was very nice. Kevin, Derrika, and Manuel at the bar made us feel extra special and we enjoyed many laughs with them. We rented a Cabana for the day by the pool and enjoyed the pool area for about 6 hours and was worth the fee. I would just say that if you are going as a couples trip this is a kid friendly resort so just be ready to see kids chasing iguanas etc. More
My little family stayed here for two nights and it couldn’t have been more pleasant! From the front desk staff to the pool attendants and servers; we were so pleased! The rooms were also spacious and very accommodating and the grounds were well kept with easy beach access! My kids want to come back every year! Beautiful resort overall; thanks for making our first trip the Key Largo memorable!
Great experience in Playa largo. The food and service was excellent at the pool and beach area. Jean the bartender provided excellent service and always had great suggestions for cocktails. The music by Gaby and Blanca (those are the live performers name if I’m not mistaken) kept us dancing to the great island rhymes. Sara stopped by also checked to ensure we were well taken care of. Lazar In sol always greeted us with a smile along with Javier and Manny the bartenders. Viktor was always very polite and professional. They really have created a culture were providing guests with exceptional experiences are at the top of their list. Also last but not least , La Marea morning team from Judith, Paul, Islande, Veronica, kerryanne and Chef Christain were all incredible.
Gorgeous property. Beach area is small but water is nice feels like your at a private home. There are several outlets for food which is awesome if you feel like staying on property. French toast is incredible. Pizza was unbelievable would go back for the pizza definitely make sure you order. And Elena made my stay. She was helpful, friendly and awesome!!
Our family booked a last minute trip to Playa Largo and had one of the most amazing getaways we could ask for. The property was beautiful, the rooms were comfortable, and the staff were friendly. - Room: We stayed in a ground level double queen resort view w/patio room directly behind the pool. The room was spacious, the sheets and pillows were dreamy, and the bathroom was bright and airy. I imagine that the rooms on the upper levels may have a had a view of the water but I loved being on the ground level and having quick access to the pool & beach directly from our patio. - Pool: The pool is large, super clean, and has a zero entry area for little ones. We rented a cabana for two days of our stay - highly recommend - but it wouldn't have been very difficult to find poolside chairs if we needed to. The kids loved spotting the numerous lizards and iguanas that roam the area. - Beach: Gorgeous but not a traditional beach. Rather a man-made seawall with stairs at various points leading down into the water. The sand is super soft and fine and there are several trees which provide ample shade. The water is very shallow and calm, perfect for bobbing around. We spotted a few fish, tons of sea snails, and several sting rays after dark. - Dining: We had dinner at La Marea & Sol by the Sea. La Marea is set back from the pool off of the courtyard and reminded us of eating in a European square or piazza. Sol by the Sea was our favorite (we ate dinner there twice) and has a very beachy feel and beautiful views of the water and resort. I'd especially like to note that our cabana servers, Irene & Lazar, were super attentive and made sure we had everything we needed throughout the day. Jean at Sand Bar was amazing, remembering our drink orders, ensuring we were never thirsty, and entertaining my husband while I enjoyed relaxing on the beach. At no point during our stay did the resort feel crowded or did we have to wait to eat, for lounge chairs, or for activities. Everything was spacious and luxurious. We will definitely be returning in the future.
What a wonderful, luxurious, peaceful vacation we had at Playa Largo! To start, after me booked our reservation, I sent an email with some questions. Elena sent back a detailed response with links to activities, restaurants, etc. After that, we corresponded with Adam, the concierge, who could not have been more professional, responsive, friendly, and informative. Adam was our "point of contact" throughout the entire vacation, and always went above and beyond to help. Brenton greeted us when we entered the property, and was enthusiastic, cheerful and professional, and set the tone for the trip. The room was spacious, clean, and had a beautiful view of the resort and pool. The food was excellent (and I am a food blogger and chef, and could be considered a "tough critic"). The eventide celebration each night showcased live music and a festive atmosphere. The "vibe" of the pool scene varied each night, but was family friendly, and peaceful. Lesley, our attendant at the cabana was responsive and friendly, and strived to meet any need we had. Jeremy, the manager, took the time to get to know us and, in conjunction with Adam, worked to rectify a minor issue we had on the first day (with service at the cabana-from another server, not Lesley). Fishing and biking are included in the resort fee. We paid additional fees to kayak and paddle board, which was well worth it!! We saw breathtaking sunsets, iguanas, manatees, nurse sharks, and more! Oh...and there are hammocks everywhere and fire pits (with s'mores kits available for purchase)...Christine, Jeremy, Elena, Adam, Brenton (and Erol? I couldn't read his name), and Lesley demonstrate the "old school" values of hospitality and customer service. This was our first visit to Playa Largo, and it certainly will not be our last!

Terrible customer service. The lingerie is quite nice but I returned three bras that didn't fit and haven't had any response to confirm they have received them, nor refund over two weeks later. I've emailed twice and no response yet to confirm they are dealing with it.

"We will aim to dispatch your order within 1 day. Keep your eyes peeled for an email with tracking information." UNLESS, "a mistake was made in the warehouse" as I was finally told, TEN DAYS after I placed my order. This I was told after sending *four* emails to customer service requesting an update on my order (I was never notified of the supposed warehouse mistake - a customer service agent in the chat told me that they thought one of my items was out of stock, but it wasn't). I sent *four* emails to their customer service email address - they say to give them 48 hours to respond. I received an email response to my four emails (the first of which was sent 19 April, order was placed 12 April) *today*. Receiving no response to my emails, I finally tried the customer service chat on their website, and my order was finally updated, the supposed "error" corrected, and should be delivered tomorrow (frankly, miraculously, as they ship with Hermes). Only took two weeks to get three bras that I ordered specifically to take on holiday with me this Wednesday. They offered me a 10% discount. I will never order from them again.

Looks good but feels and fits like shiiiit. Now been waiting A fortnight for a refund with no correspondence at all. They’ve got £130 of my money, and I’ve got no product or refund. Awful service.

Super sexy lingerie, wish I had found them before now!
I ordered a full set for my GF, but I made a mistake when entering shipping information that resulted in mix up in the mail. Maz helped me by finding every part of my order during a snow storm, sending it out again and it just arrived today, all 3 pieces as ordered! I am quite happy with the service.

Bought the Ramona recently and received a beautifully packaged parcel full of little surprise extras :) From order to arrival took 2 days.
I placed an order a week ago and have not had any communication regarding my order despite contacting the customer service team twice. I don't know if my order is lost or has even been dispatched. Appalling service considering the prices. I was excited to receive my order as I had only heard good things about the company but this has made me reconsider. Update - they have since informed me that my order was being delayed because items I had ordered are now out of stock due to the fact that they missed my order. I'm concerned that this was not picked up sooner.
Customer service terrible. Refund has taken over a month. Email correspondence is slow, yet I get 5 emails a day trying to sell me more goods!

Absolutely no response from customer service. I waited 6 days after my return package arrived at their facility to send an email. Have now emailed 5 times with not even an indication that they're looking into it. The only response I've gotten is the auto reply. I should have listened to the bad reviews here before I ordered!
I had a complicated issue with comparing bra sizes and creating an exchange and Maz was patient with me over weeks of emails sorting it out. The set itself is beautiful and I'm extremely happy with it.
Playful Promises have long been one of my favourite lingerie brands. Not only do they have wonderful items, but it's one of the very few brands I've found which does my large back/small cup bra size, so I'll always be a repeat customer! I've recently had two conversations with CS agents on their LiveChat feature. Both Maz and Jasmine were extremely helpful, super polite and had a really approachable and friendly vibe. I cannot say enough good things about this brand - thank you for catering to such a wide variety of people, using such diverse models and creating such beautiful items to covet. Money well spent!
Very disappointing service and quality. I had my eye on a few items for so long, from the Kilo Brava and Bettie Page and snapped them up in the Black Friday sale, but still my order came to close to £100 and frankly, there is no way they should cost that, let alone full price. The first BP bra arrived with many missing diamantes, the sizing of the bra was off (knickers were fine) but very flimsy material. The KB dress is also very flimsy. Trying to return the bra via their online returns system was a nightmare. It arrived the next day and I heard NOTHING, nor received a replacement until I chased a month later. Then I had to chase the email chain multiple times, due to lack of response over the coming weeks, not knowing that every time I did, my email was pushed to the back of the queue. I finally had the issue resolved via Instagram and received the replacement the next day. All of this could have been resolved much sooner. I will definitely think twice about ordering from them again. You pay for premium quality and receive sub par goods and service. Plus you have to spend a whopping £75 for free delivery.
I finally bit the bullet after seeing nothing but rave reviews from this brand by my peers and certain influencers. I spent £25 on a bra and knicker set thanks to Black Friday deals. All I can really say is I’m so glad I didn’t pay full price. When I received the package I can only describe it as seedy, like something you might expect a naughty adult web-store to send you, in terms of packaging. I understand you can include gift wrapping at checkout. But for near £5 as the cheapest shipping option, I was expecting more than just a grey Jiffy bag with no padding, not even tissue paper inside to pad it out slightly, let alone look appealing like the luxury they portray on their site. The models on the website wear the bra so well and this is including all shapes and sizes! So when I tried on the bra, it was so uncomfortable, stuck me in the ribs and the cups ‘hem’ looked like it had been stretched out, alas all bodies are different so perhaps this particular style is just not for me. Though I did use their sizing guide thoroughly and got the same result each time I checked. The matching knicker I bought however I fell in love with, super comfortable and looks amazing. This is where the 1 star is earned. I’m so disappointed this brand didn’t meet my expectations as I was looking for a new way to treat myself every other month or so !

You should have received a branded leaflet within your package as well as stickers, I'm sorry if that was not the case. The gift boxes can be purchased for a more luxurious treat, which include branded tissue paper (items remain within their polybags for hygiene purposes), a choice of illustrated or logo box tied with ribbon, all posted discreetly within its own cardboard box. The shipping costs do not relate to packaging, and are dictated by warehousing and courier/postal service costs - you can snap up free shipping on orders over £75. If you'd like further advice about fitting and styles, please do drop us an email, we would love to see what we can do in regards the bra style mentioned above, as it potentially could be a case of trying a different size :)
