Head out of town on Colosio, past Forjadores until you hit a major intersection with the BCS La Paz-Tecolote Highway. Turn left. Follow the road all the way across the peninsula. The paved road ends at the top of a hill. You take the dirt/sand roads through the desert until you see the fish camp and then turn south to the next beach.
The closest and most beautiful beaches, about 6 kms. very short drive, are Balandra and Playa El Tecolote. You will not find much nicer beaches anywhere. Amenities like food and beer, margaritas are available at Tecolote.4/5().
