When porn is too much and you've watched all of the sexiest movies streaming on Netflix approximately a million times, you sometimes need to turn to—GASP—new movies. You know, the kind that are coming out in theaters and require leaving your house and putting on pants (which, yeah, sometimes seems counterintuitive when you're specifically yearning for a sexy movie to watch, but work with me here).
Tragically, we've seen all fifty shades of Anastasia Steele and Christian Grey's big screen sexcapades, but fear not—there are still plenty of sexy, sexy movies coming out in 2019 to get you all kinds of hot and bothered.
Starring: Matthew McConaughey, Anne Hathaway, Diane Lane, Jason Clarke, Djimon Hounsou, and Jeremy Strong
What it's about: A man who's tapped by his ex-wife to kill her current husband.
Why it's sexy: It's a full-on neo-noir thriller, complete with all of the sexy vibes that particular sub-genre is famous for.
Starring: Gina Rodriguez and Ismael Cruz Córdova
What it's about: A young woman named Gloria goes to the police for help when her friend is kidnapped from a nightclub in Mexico, but finds herself in big trouble when a corrupt cop hands her over to the kidnappers, who want to use Gloria to move drugs and avoid detection by the Drug Enforcement Administration.
Why it's sexy: Gloria (played by Jane the Virgin star Gina Rodriguez) assumes a gritty, sexy new persona as she fights back against the cartel.
Starring: Taraji P. Henson, Aldis Hodge, Wendi McLendon-Covey, Phoebe Robinson, and Tracy Morgan

What it's about: This update on the pretty problematic 2000 rom-com What Women Want is about a woman who gets the ability to hear men's thoughts.
Why it's sexy: That woman is played by Taraji P. Henson though and Taraji is never NOT sexy.
Starring: Sofia Boutella, Kiddy Smile, Roman Guillermic, Souheila Yacoub, Claude Gajan Maull, Giselle Palmer, Taylor Kastle, and Thea Carla Schøtt
What it's about: A group of French dancers who realize their post-rehearsal sangria has been laced with drugs that lead to sexy consequences.
Starring: Keira Knightley, Alexander Skarsgård, and Jason Clarke
What it's about: In this period film, set in 1946, a woman named Rachael Morgan travels to Hamburg to reunite with her British colonel husband, Lewis, who has been assigned to rebuild the city.
Why it's sexy: Doesn't sound sexy yet? Keep reading because Racheal and Lewis move in with a German widower and "passion" and "betrayal" follow. We all know what that means, right?
Starring: Haley Lu Richardson, Elena Satine, and Cole Sprouse
What it's about: Cole Sprouse getting his full, not-appropriate-for-The-CW sexiness on? Yes, please. This teen romance follows a girl named Stella who is hospitalized with cystic fibrosis and meets a life-changing fellow teen named Will with the same diagnosis.
Why it's sexy: They're immediately flirty, but required to maintain a "safe distance"—thus the movie's title. The more in love they fall, the more tempted they are to break the rules though, obviously. Is anything sexier than the romance that technically breaks the rules? Nope.
Starring: Josephine Langford and Hero Fiennes-Tiffin
What it's about: Good girl goes to college, meets a mysterious, brooding guy who makes her question everything she thought she knew about herself and her life.
Why it's sexy: It's all about young love and sexy firsts and the stars are as hot as their chemistry.
Cast: Elisabeth Moss, Cara Delevingne, Dan Stevens, Agyness Deyn, Gayle Rankin, Ashley Benson, Dylan Gelula, Virginia Madsen, and Amber Heard
What it's about: A punk rock band called Something She and the lead singer's self-destructive tendencies.
Why it's sexy: Well, it is the film set that brought Cara Delevingne and Ashley Benson together...
Starring: Yara Shahidi and Charles Melton
What it's about: A romantic and a staunch pragmatist meet and fall for each other during one magical day in New York City.
Why it's sexy: With stars like Yara and Charles, how could it not be? Plus, it promises to have the same butterfly-inducing love vibes as Before Sunrise .
Starring: Sophie Turner, James McAvoy, Michael Fassbender, Jennifer Lawrence, Nicholas Hoult, Tye Sheridan, Alexandra Shipp, Kodi Smit-McPhee, Evan Peters, and Jessica Chastain
What it's about: Jean Grey embraces her inner dark side and the X-Men scramble to keep the peace.
Why it's sexy: Dark Phoenix isn't necessarily what you think of as a sexy movie, but watch the trailer and try not to lust over Sophie Turner just a little bit.
Starring: Emilia Clarke and Henry Goulding
What it's about: Not much is known about the movie. The only synopsis floating around on the internet reads: "A young woman, who has been continuously unlucky, accepts a job as a department store elf during the holidays. When Kate meets Tom on the job, her life takes a turn."
Why it's sexy: Emilia Clarke and Henry Goulding are both inherently sexy humans. Not a ton is known about the plot, so we can't say for sure what their sexiest moment will be, but these two in a rom-com has to be the hottest thing about November.

If you don't like cheesy romance but still want to watch a love story, sexy comedy movies are a good way to go. Whether you're in the mood for something raunchy or a little more tame, there is no shortage of options. Below, 26 funny, sexy movies perfect for any date night, night home alone, or marathon day with your friends. Just maybe don't watch these with kids or your parents around. Because that could get weird.
Think Cinderella, if it was actually a sexy comedy with Richard Gere and Julia Roberts. This movie is the classic rom-com in which sex isn't the main event, but watching them fall in love with each other is steamy enough. And, you know, they do eventually do it.
This movie is sexy, sad, funny, and utterly relatable. Watching Renee Zellwegger crush on Hugh Grant is a true rite of passage for any sexy comedy fan. As are the subsequent installments of the franchise.
Don't you remember being in high school, having a crush, and vowing to do literally anything to get that crush to notice you? Superbad gets it.
The ultimate teen sex comedy. Did you know that this movie made fetch — I mean, the term "MILF" — happen? Jason Biggs jerks off with a pie, Tara Reid gets oral before dinner, and the idea of band camp takes on a whole new meaning.
How is it possible that a movie can be heartbreaking and sexy and hilarious at the same time? Nothing is funnier than seeing Paul Rudd walk Steve Carrell through his first time with a woman. And there's also some hilarious body-waxing along the way.
For a raunchy comedy, this movie still manages to have its sexy moments, and the love story is actually pretty sweet.
This romantic comedy is way sexier than anyone gives it credit for.
When Harry Met Sally dares to argue that men and women can be just friends. Until, you know, they run to meet each other on New Year's Eve and declare their love. Happens to the best of us. Besides, everyone has to see the iconic Meg Ryan fake an orgasm in Katz's Deli at least once.
It's Complicated is sexy, heartfelt, and includes a pairing you never even knew you wanted to watch together: Meryl Streep and Alec Baldwin. Plus, no one does rom-coms like Nancy Meyers.
This might be the original teen sex comedy, if only because it's where so many tropes that are used (or spoofed) in movies like American Pie or Superbad came from. If you've never seen it, definitely add it to your list.
Judd Apatow is obviously really good at making raunchy, sweet, sexy comedies given how many of his films are on this list. This one is a good place to start if you haven't seen any of his other work (which would be pretty impossible).
This sexy comedy transitions from raunchy to romantic minute by minute.
Will Smith always knows how to strike a balance between romance and comedy, and this movie is the perfect example of that.
If Judd Apatow's movies are all about awkward men, Sex and the City is about women having to deal with said awkward men. Obviously, there's a lot of raunchy talk too.
A true classic that needs no further description.
This movie has a lot of sex, but you'll be surprised at how funny it is too.
This movie deserves to be watched ... trust me, OK?
This movie is sexy, yes, but it is so much more than that. There's heartbreak and healing and lots of sex talk. It's so, so good.
Bachelorette is from the same writer as Sleeping With Other People; Leslye Headland is a sexy comedy genius.
There is one scene in this movie that is so sexy a statue should be built in its honor.
Possibly one of the best teen comedies of all time.
Cameron Diaz, Leslie Mann, and Kate Upton find out that they're all in a relationship with none other than Jaime Lannister, er, Nikolaj Coster-Waldau. So they team up to find him and give him a taste of his own medicine, resulting in some very sexy comedy.
Eurotrip is one of the raunchiest and most ridiculous comedies of its time. It's chock full of sex — and terrible cliches about Europeans, but hey, it was the early aughts.
Ted's (Ben Stiller) dream prom date with Mary (Cameron Diaz) never happened because of an injury at her house, so he decides to hire Pat (Matt Dillon) to track her down. A tricky love triangle ensues — as does that epic scene with semen in her hair.
Amy Schumer has built her career on explicit humor, so of course her 2015 rom-com is full of it.

Robert Pattinson, when called on to simulate masturbating in the 2008 film Little Ashes , felt his efforts weren't coming off realistic enough, so he went ahead and did the deed on camera.

Most people when watching these movies: "How was this allowed?!"
The experimental movie is about a motorcycle racer (Gallo) who is haunted by tragic memories of a former girlfriend (Sevigny), but it's most known for that scene and its reception at the Cannes Film festival (more on that later).
Gallo, who also wrote and directed the movie, told Film Freak Central that he pitched the project to Sevigny (with whom he'd had a previous relationship of sorts) by saying, "Remember that night in Paris when I did that thing to you but you didn't do it to me because you weren't so into it? Well, you might have to do that. On film." He went on to say that, to his eyes, the scene was needed to demonstrate the connection between male sexuality and self-loathing.
That Sevigny agreed to be in a sure-to-be-notorious scene was surprising, considering that she was a well-known, Academy Award–nominated actor, but she stood by her decision over a decade later.
“I’d probably still do it today. I believe in Vincent as an artist, and I stand by the film,” she told Variety in 2016, adding, “It was a subversive act. It was a risk."
Unfortunately, the risk didn't quite pay off. The debut screening of the film at the Cannes Film Festival ended in massive boos, with famed film critic Roger Ebert calling it the worst film ever shown at the festival.
If masturbating on the set of a major motion picture sounds surreal, perhaps it's fitting that Pattinson was playing surrealist painter Salvador Dalí.
In a 2013 interview with Germany's Interview magazine, Pattinson revealed that his authentic orgasm face is captured in the film. When asked why he didn't simply pretend, Pattinson replied, "Try it. I can tell you right now, no chance. It just doesn’t work." He went on to say that he was worried the scene might ruin his career, but very shortly after production wrapped, he got the call telling him that he'd been cast in Twilight .
Fortuitously, it seems that Pattinson's acting chops have improved since those early days of his career. He has since successfully simulated masturbation in four movies: High Life , Damsel , The Devil All the Time , and The Lighthouse .
Gaspar Noé's film about a young couple whose relationship takes a turn when they invite a third person into their bed didn't make a huge splash upon its release. But five years later, it hit Netflix's Top 10 after the TikTok challenge — where people filmed themselves watching the opening scene without knowing anything about the film — took off. (Sorry, folks, Love is no longer on Netflix, but the film starts with the couple totally naked in bed, pleasuring each other to climax with their hands. It's no Indiana Jones entering a Peruvian temple to retrieve a golden idol, but it's still a helluva a way to start a film!)
Noé told Esquire that despite all the unsimulated sex, the actors did not prepare by having practice sex. "They kissed for the first time on the first day of shooting. And in the movie, most scenes are real, but some are simulated. We don't want to promote what is what."
Producer Louise Vesth explained to the Hollywood Reporter prior to the film's release that the production had the stars simulate their sex scenes, then brought in body doubles to film the same sex scenes unsimulated. Later, in postproduction, they used digital effects to combine the two. “So above the waist, it will be the star, and below the waist, it will be the doubles,” Vesth said.
The production originally presented itself like a straightforward, albeit sexy take on Roman history, but once production wrapped and director Tinto Brass and his acclaimed stars went home, Guccione sneaked back onto the set with a crew of Penthouse pets and filmed a bunch of orgiastic scenes featuring real, unsimulated sex and added them throughout the final film.
The released film — now bloated to nearly three hours — did very well in Italian theaters before it was confiscated by authorities for being obscene. In America, the film grossed $23 million (making it the highest-grossing independent film ever at the time) but faced many obscenity lawsuits.
This film by Mitchell — the co-creator and original star of Hedwig and the Angry Inch — was about a diverse group of young people trying to find their place in New York. Mitchell told Medium, "I wanted to work with real sex as part of the story, as it is in our lives — we don’t cut away the first time we have sex with someone we are in love with. ... So Shortbus was an experiment, and the actors would have to be very special actors who’d want to go there with me and trust me. We worked with them for two and a half years before we filmed it."
The film's stars, Margo Stilley and Kieran O'Brien, do almost everything that can be done in the film. Beyond the foot job, they masturbate with and without a vibrator and perform fellatio, and O'Brien even ejaculates onscreen.
In the end, though, all the sexual fireworks didn't impress critics or viewers. The critics' consensus on Rotten Tomatoes is, "The unerotic sex scenes quickly become tedious to watch, and the lovers lack the personality necessary to make viewers care about them."
Today Warhol is best remembered as the revolutionary pop artist behind iconic silk-screened paintings of Campbell's Soup cans and Marilyn Monroe, but he was a prolific filmmaker. His films, however, rarely looked anything like what most people imagine a film to look like. His five-and-a-half-hour film Sleep , for example, was entirely made up of footage of his boyfriend asleep.
The plot of the 133-minute Blue Movie was a little more involved, but pretty simple: A couple (played by Viva and Louis Walden) hang out in their New York apartment. They chat about things like the Vietnam War, cook, shower, and, finally, have unsimulated sex.
The movie debuted very successfully at theaters in New York and also screened in Berkeley, California. It wasn't all roses, though: One New York City theater that screened it was fined $250 for obscenity.
John Waters, in a bit of comic irony I imagine he finds highly amusing, is best known these days for his contribution to the wonderfully wholesome musical Hairspray! But for the majority of his career — and especially early in it — he was known for making some of the raunchiest, most offensive cult films ever.
The most famous of these films is Pink Flamingos , which stars Waters' longtime collaborator, drag queen Divine, as — oh boy, how to synopsize this movie — a woman named the "filthiest person alive" and her rivals who try to steal the title from her. If you're familiar with this movie, you probably know it ends with Divine picking up real dog poop off the ground and eating it.
Equally unsettling is the scene where Divine, excited by defiling her rivals' home, performs oral sex on the actor portraying her son, Crackers.
