I once read somewhere about the danger that your penis possible can shrink when being locked up in long time chastity. So far I have only tried some short time session, longest lock up like 2 or 3 days...
But I'm afraid to go longer because of this...
Has anyone of you ever heard of something like this? Or even experienced it self? Aren't you guys afraid of shrinking your penis?

shrinking is not a good word. your body will take some habit and lower the blood flow.
Since you're unlocked, make some jerk off and the blood will rapidly flow again (and probably not only blood)

The risk is called atrophy and it's really only something for long, long term chastity.

If you're getting out of your cage at least once a month and getting a full erection, you don't have much to worry about.

If you're into long, long term chastity then the decrease in size probably isn't unwelcome.

1) some typical short time risk of chastity devices:


if you do not keep clean, you might get some bad smell soon, especially in closed plastic tubes
especially cheap devices may not be stainless steel and contain nickle or other materials that cause allergic reactions
if you do have a cheap device with bad/rough surfaces, you will get sore skin soon, especially with ring around testicles
if that cage and ring or the does not fit really, you might get sore soon because of the friction and abrasion on skin
skin needs to adapt a bit to that new "prothesis", if you overdo wearing times right from start, your skin might get sore
you might be unable to get a full night of sleep because a certain pressure wakes you up every few hours
your partner might really like that locked toy.. and suddenly wants to keep you in it for much longer times then intended

2) long term risks

all of the above, especially that thing about getting sore skin
your body will adopt to that chastity device. that means it will "learn" over time to adjust your erection. and over time you will slowly loose the ability to fully become erect for some time
your penis is not only a blood operated thing, it is a muscle too. and without regular training it will shrink a bit and degenerate temporarily
permanently wearing a tight front shield or something that covers your testicles can lead to overheating them, especially in summer. Which leads to a temporary infertility

And what I do know from a friend who was locked up real long times by his Wife-Mistress (no erection for months..):
Temporary shrinking and being unable to erect your little now free friend is not gone within minutes, not even days. It may take some time and several training units to fully recover into old shape. But there seems to be no real inevitable "permanent damage" from chastitiy devices if you keep clean carefully.

(And especially that temporary infertility due to testicle overheating can take 3 to 4 weeks to fully recover your sperms, so you should keep that in mind with your family planning).

No, feli_hh, the penis is not a muscle. There is no muscle tissue in the penis at all. It is almost entirely a spongy material that expands and firms up when it's engorged with blood. It does not atrophy; it does not degenerate.

It's true that your erections will be weaker after a long time in chastity, which can look smaller, so some people think it is smaller.
However, this is simply your body which has discovered that trying to get fully erect is useless and possibly painful, so it stops trying to do it.
Given some post-chastity time and retraining, though, your body can figure out that erections are possible, just as easily as it figured out they're not possible. Once that happens, your erect penis will be the same size it was before your lockup.

Longest session was 122 days. No ill affects, no shrinkage. Yes it will take a few days to get back to full sail.
