🌍 PixelDays News #1
Good time of day. We didn't sit around and didn't waste time, so we have something to share with you.
Let's start with the most interesting part...
• Recruitment for the position of moderators was conducted. We selected 5 candidates from 20 applications, interviewed them, and all of them successfully passed and started their work. Those who did not pass - please do not worry, in the future we will also conduct additional recruitment, and you will have a better chance to get into our staff. We don't need many moderators right now, and five people are enough at the moment.
• A 0 cd event was held. You liked this experiment and we received positive feedback from you. And there's some good news: This is not the last event. There will be many more in the future. Invite your friends and acquaintances, this is how you help us become better and motivate us to be creative.
• The code was refactored and bugs fixed. These were mostly minor edits, but we also fixed many inconveniences on the site, such as the frequent change of the IID (if the user on the free VPN address flies off by itself and the lists are reset). From now on, the whitelist is not linked to the IID, but to the user's profile, and the whitelists no longer fly off when using a free VPN. We also solved the problem with timeouts, and now there are many times fewer of them. The problem with the built-in Telegram browser was also solved (the site swore at the user because of its use, especially if the person was using a free VPN service).
• Another important news is the change in our template insertion policy. We have reviewed our position regarding the countries that come to our website. And in most cases, we did not see the very incentive to paint, which should have been the paste of the starting territories. From now on, we do not insert templates for fractions that have come to our site from other sites. This is ineffective and unfair to countries that have lost on other sites and joined us. From now on, we only allow template insertion if the template/patterns and associations of countries. The important point here is that unification should be voluntary, and not in the course of defeating one of the factions and forcing it to change the template to the template of the victorious country. Pastes are allowed only if the two factions are on equal terms and want to form a single country/alliance/coalition.
