I've been wearing this scent for 8 years. The liquid has always been clear and the scent has always been cotton candy. This is caramel colored and has no scent at all.
I read a lot of reviews before getting this product and I was really scared, but took a risk because I TRUST Amazon and their guarantees. I read that many of you here have received fakes. I cannot speak for the vendors here and I'm positive that you can get a fake by easily buying a cheaper item, and not buying it from Amazon DIRECTLY. Yes, it's a tad more pricey, but I'm confident I got the real thing... 1. Make sure your product is SOLD BY and SHIPPED by AMAZON only. 2. There is no chili pepper on the PINK SUGAR products...(see their official facebook page and website page, (both in Italian) The confusing element of this product is that most of their older bottles of pink sugar, had the pepper on their logo, just as their other products do now...However, it appears to be one of the few products that don't have iconic pepper now)... (yes, i realize that in itself may sound confusing). 3. The official website link is pinksugar(dot)(i t) with no spaces and no parenthesis. 4. The package itself has a "velvety" like pink ribbon around the cardboard container. 5. The bar code should be written on the BOTTOM of the cardboard/plastic container, and reads 8 033866 164335. (for the 3.5 oz. Eau de Toilette) 6. The company's website is listed in tiny print, on the bottom label of the cardboard/plastic container and is : selective(dash) spa(dot)(it). On that page, you can see all the company products along with a link to the pink sugar product line. There are new Pink sugar products that came out in 2012 as well... 7. The container and bottle itself are both stamped "made in Italy". I hope this helps someone out there...as I started to panic when I first opened the box and saw no "pepper" like others had mentioned... After doing some research online, I discovered that it's suppose to be like this... I waited a long time to buy this perfume, because of the fears everybody talked about, but now I am glad that I finally bought this and realize that it's not AMAZON selling fakes at all...(beware of vendors or personal sellers though, which may not be the same stuff).
I have use this perfume for 15+ years. This batch does not have the same scent. Unfortunately I decided by a larger bottle this time and I can’t return it. Also, they may have change their packaging, but for as long as I have been using it the spray pump has been a fuchsia color and this bottle has a silver pump.
OK this isn't for me but I've bought TWO bottles... I don't know a thing about perfumes, but my wife asked for this, I got it and loved it on her. Then the style went out of production (2007?) it seemed! I remember loving this smell as it was playful, not flowery, and reminds one of food/candy. So I did a search for it, and luckily they brought it back to the market. Ladies, if you WANT to be taken out to dinner this makes a nice subtle hint. Not taking any chances this time, I bought the 3oz bottle which should last a while.
Not sure why some people are saying that this is fake. It’s definitely the real deal, just like it’s always smelled. I’ve purchased this for years and there’s nothing wrong with this product. It holds it longevity and smells delicious. Would buy over and over and over. I smell like a dream! Lol.
Do not wear this if you'll be anywhere near a bee hive. Seriously. They get super pissed when they find out you're not a flower or a spindle of cotton candy. However, I think my experience speaks to the quality of the fragrance. You'll smell like a vanilla cupcake sprinkled with powdered sugar and smothered in a strawberry orange sauce and caramel. It is divine. Now I'm hungry...
Before opening the package I knew there had to be spillage from the strong smell. Once I opened the pink sugar container, over half of the perfume spilled out on my floor. The top of the container completely broke off. ***Update. Thank you seller for refunding the total amount without delay.
I saw someone review this perfume on youtube and I was so curious I had to purchase it. A 3.4 oz of this bottle on Sephora.com is $60 dollars, so I jumped on it when I saw it on amazon. I was a little skeptical at how cheap the price was compared to Sephora but considering the reviews I thought I'd give it a go. It does smell like warmth, cookies, cotton candy and any baked sweet thing you can think of.. However, I've noticed that the brand Aquolina is nowhere to be found on this perfume, not on the packaging or anywhere else and that was a little odd to me. Since I've never purchased this at a store I don't really have anything to compare it to. I checked out sephora's site and I looked up this perfume and I noticed that right above the "Pink Sugar" logo Aquolina's brand name is above it but it isn't on the one I just received from amazon. Idk.. It still smells great but I just wonder if I'm missing out on what IT ACTUALLY smells like if this one isn't by Aquolina..??? Has anyone else bought this at an actual store without the brand name anywhere on it? Just curious.

PRODOTTO FALSO CONFRONTATO CON L'ORIGINALE
Questo profumo è arrivato in ottime condizioni, nulla da dire sulla consegna impeccabile come sempre. Il problema vero è il prodotto in se. Ho spruzzato subito un po di profumo e non appena l'ho annusato mi è arrivata una puzza incredibile di alcool, davvero fastidiosa che mi ha dato fastidio persino alla testa. Il giorno seguente ho comprato in profumeria quello originale (50 ml pagato 28,50€) e li ho confrontati perché in cuor mio immaginavo si trattasse di un falso. Al primo confronto ho notato che il colore del profumo originale era molto più giallo rispetto a questo comprato su amazon che era praticamente come l'acqua, e poi ho notato che il cilindro di cartone rosa e bianco (che contiene il profumo) dell'originale aveva un colore rosa molto più acceso del falso. In poche parole si tratta di un profumo falso che assomiglia molto all'originale ma non di certo per la fragranza. Inutilizzabile per la puzza di alcool, ho dovuto buttarlo. Resta comunque uno dei miei profumi preferiti, ma sicuramente lo comprerò in profumeria.. con qualche soldo in più, ma almeno potrò utilizzarlo.

This perfume is great value for the money.It lasts along time & I get asked what I’m wearing a lot.I can wear an expensive brand that costs £60 for 50ml & get no complaints.I wear pink sugar £15 for 100ml & get asked what I’m wearing.I found out about this perfume on you tube by Jeremy fragrance.He’s knows his stuff.
